Half a century is slowly creeping up on me and so I grew up with fragrances that are no longer available or familiar. This green pine cone was a recurring feature in our bathroom cabinet around the 80s, with Aramis Devin EDT next to it for company.
During my morning dental hygiene, which was often carried out side by side due to time constraints, I often got a little of the Pino's remaining fragrance dust from my 190cm height difference to my 190cm father. Back then, I was already a fan of this particular forest fragrance and it burned itself into my olfactory soul for decades.
As I didn't have much to look for in the perfume world for a long time and things changed in my family, the fragrance was very much in the back of my mind. By chance while browsing, I became aware of this fragrance again on Notino and despite the hint that it was no longer like it was decades ago, I had to get it for the really small money..for old times' sake. What can I say, yes it still has that 80s vibe, it's a bit different, a bit stronger I think, but it's something very own and unique, it has its own DNA where you could even use the word niche after shave.

you can make pasta cold. You can eat it on vacation or at a picnic, in the morning or in the evening. The legendary ode to pasta by Peter Ludolf probably also applies to Dolce Amalfi and I'd like to write a few lines about it now.
A test spray back then in the niche perfumery and I knew/hoped that my wife (me on her) would need it 100% in her wardrobe.
As Sunshine had already aptly described it "for me", it really is everything.
I am often a fussy sniffer, too sweet there, too spicy there, too pungent there, too flowery etc. But with this fragrance everything is so fluffy, light, from here what, from there what, simply ideally balanced.
You go to brunch with Dolce, you go to the disco with Dolce, you go to the beach bar with Dolce, you go to a meeting with Dolce. He does everything right and seems so *innocent* that he doesn't want to do anything wrong. I don't know whether it's good or not, but there are a thousand other sweet, citrusy, sparkling, floral-scented fragrances, so I don't begrudge Dolce for being a little bit of everything.
I'm delighted, my wife has been using it almost exclusively for the last few weeks (the purse less so haha) and I now glow a little more when I'm around her.

The rating of this little water pains me a little, and what's more, it's no longer really available. I came across it via a sample (thanks Lily) and the first spray was an olfactory concert in my nose. Within a week, the souk was able to provide me with a remaining bottle that will hopefully last me about 2 years. This fragrance is so unique and special, niche and (for me) slightly addictive. You spray it on and seconds later, citrusy, herbaceous eucalyptus leaves with a pinch of pepper and wood dance around your neck.I can't even describe this exact fragrance note that makes it so special for me.The fragrance also has a little bit of this Haudrauf like an Erba Pura in terms of spice / sharpness, but goes meters in other directions. In addition, it lacks the sillage and also the shorter shelf life that it can annoy its surroundings. you will have it around you and in your nose for 6-8 hours, but no one will find it annoying for more than 30 cm. The perfumer of this creation should get a pat on the back from me.

Cooking punch today.
The chilly season has arrived again, I look outside and the cloudy, slightly misty winter weather makes me want to make punch today. Ideal punch!
A pot of fresh, clear water is brought to the boil, 2 bags of vanilla tea are sunk into it and slowly rinsed out. The now slightly dark liquid is further refined with 100 grams of sugared almonds, a good dash of Amaretto and cherry liqueur, plus a pinch of cinnamon for spice. The whole thing now simmers gently for 25 minutes, in the meantime I go to my closet to choose the right outfit for this delicacy. I put on my black trousers and shirt and a fine-knit dark gray turtleneck sweater. It's the only thing that goes perfectly with this outfit - just reach into the perfume box and apply 3 fine sprays of L'Homme. Perfect!...But now slowly back to the kitchen, the punch should be ready.
Yes, it's ready, the pot is put to one side, allowed to cool, I down a Nespresso espresso in the meantime, and after cooling, a large shot of the purest alcohol is added, stirred and is ready to be bottled again. Cheers!

Now a good 3 days later, I open the shipping box with joyful anticipation, wrapping paper...away there! and a silver box is already sparkling towards me. Well, let's see what cheap, liquid gold is hidden inside.

The first hiss goes into the air, nose forward and into the fragrance.
Oha, ok spicy fruit water, I smell something like ginger/citrus/pear cocktail.
Once again, I test it on a high-quality eyelid tissue. Hhmm yeah, has something, smells niche, but STOP, "throat clearing", ok there's something, "throat clearing, cough".
No, I don't like that, but we've had that before hmm, oh yes, exactly, with the Imagination Dupe from Zara! It was also one of those and after 2 minutes of sniffing the card it also started to itch.
I'm studying the ingredients, ginger in Zara, pepper in Noir, tzz no idea, or is it some benzoate that's spoiling the scent?
I don't know, I've already sprayed it on the slightly windy balcony so that the top note can dry and I don't take too much air for the first 10 minutes. The attempt works better, but the scratching and clearing of the throat also comes after a while as soon as the scent comes over.
When the fragrance is on for 1 hour, it becomes really pleasantly smooth, solidly sweet, where the vanilla, musk and patchouli play well together. Yes, it can do something, the direction is right.
But well, that's it with the Noir and me, I would like to use it, but 40% disgusts me before the bottle and 60% I don't like to walk around for an hour or two with an incipient cold in my throat.
