Yes, that's true. I always remember smelling this fragrance in perfume stores. I found it somehow strangely too metrosexual, even feminine. I didn't understand this fragrance. I liked the two fragrances mentioned right away and Dior Homme Intense as well as Dior Homme Original, but still not. What was wrong with me?

Chapter 1 - The way to the fragrance (fragrances)

Iris Cedre smells to me like there is no hunger, no suffering, no strife, no hate in the world. There is something soothing about it and at the same time it gives you a zest for life. Cedarwood and neroli and iris I perceive. Very subtle cedarwood. Iris permanently (but not listed).
Neroli (am not a fan at all) very well matched.
All other note does not come to the fore (may well change therefore chapter 3)
When wearing an aura that enchants you and hope that I can enchant my counterpart with it :). A too much obvious Neroli would have missed this fragrance.

If the fragrance would be a time: for me 1800-1900; for others certainly 2100-2200 :)

Chapter 3 - Further ( What else do I smell out? How do I find it after some time? What else happened?)
Addendum-1.11.2021. Iris and Iris Cedre are the same for me. I would say 80% - 90%.
Iris I find softer and the sillage (the appearance / presence) is not strong.

Amande- In Amande, that basic base from the infusion's is there too. The almond is here, but the main attraction. Also seems to me creamier than Iris Cedre.
Addendum to chapter 2: The pale iris is permanently present.
Neroli (am not a fan at all) very well matched and harmonizes incredibly with the other notes.

I had to have it and treated myself to a 200 ml version :)).

Am I changing?
The Valentino brand was unknown to me until now. Since I had no good experiences with Dior (which one I don't remember anymore), I wanted to give him a chance. And what happens? I'm thrilled.
