How I Thought of Him Again Through Mint Candies in the Car
I always keep a sample of the best perfume in the world (Fahrenheit by Dior) in the center console of my car. A few weeks ago, this sample leaked, and in the same compartment of the center console was a pack of mint candies.

They must have soaked up the Fahrenheit. I didn’t know that at first, until I popped one of those candies in my mouth. I tasted a mix of mint and perfume, and it all turned into a wild party of spices and menthol.

Anyway, I suddenly got some kind of flashback to a perfume that I knew but couldn’t place. My old childhood room suddenly came to my mind, my wardrobe back then, where my first perfumes were stored (Nightflight, Joop Homme, Harley Davidson...) and another scent. This taste was a hundred percent that - still - unknown perfume, but I couldn’t remember the name.

Well, what can I say, I sucked on another candy, and I really saw the bottle in front of me. Dark, round, thinner at the bottom, with a powerful black cap on top! I just couldn’t recall it. When I searched for ideas about perfumes here in the evening, Cuba came to mind, tobacco leaves...HAVANA!! Then I landed on this fragrance site, but the bottle didn’t match. Upon a closer look, I then saw the old, "my" bottle! There it was. Ordered it directly from Amazon for 26 euros, and two days later I had it here. Well, not the same as before, nowhere near as intense as I remembered it, still sweet, smoky but not as powerful anymore. Regardless, I found it very amusing that I rediscovered the old scent through the combination of perfume and mint.

Thick Bomber
Phew, the inconspicuous and small bottle doesn't seem to promise such a bomb at all.
After the first spray, it hits you directly: wood wood wood, smoke, and then suddenly a little sweetness in the form of cocoa whimpers from a corner.
I sometimes think of Calvin Klein's Obsession - not the one for men but for women!
Spicy, heavy, brutal.
I really like it, even Fahrenheit seems like a little ballerina next to it.

everything is green
Oh dear, good thing I got a sample and was once again reminded that not every expensive fragrance has to be good.
I smell Oud, Myrrh, but in the end, just green mustiness. Yes, mustiness. Sorry to express it this way, but it just smells like a dull knife, like a box full of old clothes or Klosterfrau Melissengeist. I don't want to get emotional, but this disappointed me. There's nothing shiny, nothing bright or fresh.
Reflection or Jubilation 25 are such great fragrances, but this one?

Office
I got to know it through a sample; I always keep samples in my toiletry bag since I often sleep in hotels or away from home.
When I used this sample and spent the rest of the day with colleagues at a conference, I kept catching whiffs of it by chance - it really lasts long on me, no idea why.
Bergamot is prominent, I also smell coniferous woods and fresh spices. I find it very good, it’s not overwhelming and very uh "bureaucratic," so serious and tie-wearing (great word, just invented, hahaha).
More for those over 30 who no longer want/can smell Boss Bottled.
Fresh, serious, and grown-up.

It's a pity that this little fragrance is so overlooked. It doesn't harm anyone. The inconspicuous bottle speaks for itself, with a clear line and a kind of "purity."
Upon first application, I smell tea, black tea. And then you leave it alone for a while, because after a quarter of an hour, some woods and pepper come into play. It then smells spicy, bitter, and I find it very strong.
This is not a scent for the "evening of life" or a wedding. It's something for everyday use, when you greet each other in the office in the morning, quickly grab some rolls at the bakery, or are on your way to the gym. I would compare it to JIL SANDERS MEN (in that misshapen, crooked bottle).
It lasts long, and you don't have to overdo it with the dosage.
I like it; I also enjoy wearing a hoodie from time to time.
