Spell
For days the sky was grey, the air was humid and cold, from November it went into December. There was no light, the grey ceiling hung over the city. The people hurried bent over and turned inward on their way.
Then, one morning, the sky was suddenly bright, covered with a fluffy white layer through which a winter sun softly and blurredly let its milky light fall. I stood there, amazed, looking into this flickering spectacle, could not take my eyes off that sky, it was as if a fairy had waved her magic wand and you could still see the silver specks that had escaped. Like gauze or finest silk, the sky was covered with the milk of winter light.
The noise around me had suddenly ceased, and in the middle of the city I thought I was in a fairy tale place, thought I could hear fine, delicate sounds from far away, for a moment everything stood still.

There are moments that are so surprising in their beauty that one is briefly catapulted out of space and time. This is what happened to me when I first experienced this scent. This flickering light, this delicacy, tenderness and yet power, the coolness that rests on a warm layer. I don't like to take the fragrance apart, although I notice the citric notes, the wonderful flowers, so light and shimmering, hardly sweet perhaps through the iris, and yet held on this warm bed of the highest quality oud, sandalwood, musk, powder and amber.

The colours for me are light violet, pink, silver, white and cream, and as a basis all shades of violet, gold and blue.
As music that represents the mood for me, Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No 1 comes to mind.

I let a friend try the scent, she was so surprised, an aaah came when she took her nose off her hand, she was enchanted. I can only express my admiration for this work of art, and thanks for letting me experience it.

Autumn in Florence
Florence has a lot to offer when it comes to fragrances, even many unknown ones, like this brand. I have tested Homo novus and Primavera. Both I find very beautiful and successful, but I found this one almost even more beautiful. But I think it's something about the mood. Since I was undecided, I asked others, and everyone thought that Primavera was the more suitable, the more beautiful. Okay.
But how does it smell now?
The first thing I notice about the bottle is something fresh, a gentle lemon, which actually appears first on the skin. Soon the orange is added, but also something green, which however rather appears as a substructure. I like that already very much. Orange is often such a fear opponent of mine, but there are scents where it doesn't smell like orange juice or all-purpose cleaner, e.g. "el cielo sobre la plaza de Oriente", but the orange is much more citric there and quite present and fresh. But it does not have these negative associations.
With Primavera, the orange comes gently and sweet, but not sweetish, because after a few minutes the flowers join in, and I think the honey-like sweetness of the broom is what I get the most. I cannot identify the other flowers individually. But the scent is already quite sweet. Normally I would stop at this point, because I cannot stand Loukhoum on my skin. There are women who can wear it well, but I am not the type and I don't like it either. For a moment I was afraid it might go this way, because heliotrope, Jamin and others can quickly become too much for me.
But then he gets the twist, and although the sweetness is supported by amber and benzoin, there is a fine powdery note that loosens up the whole thing, and it is held by woody notes without getting really woody, which in my opinion would not have fit.
I can't really smell patchouli, but I can imagine that as a base it helps to prevent the fragrance from drifting into the candy segment.

I am amazed at myself that I like this fragrance after all, but now in the wet and cold season it is a real skin caress, warm and round, a smile with full lips and rosy cheeks, very feminine. It's hard to imagine it on a man, but who knows....I do imagine a very fine smoky look that might come out more on a man's skin.
While thinking about which direction, which other fragrances one could compare Primavera with, I briefly thought of some of Mrs. Mecheri's fragrances. But they were always too dense, heavy, thick, i.e. too opulent. Primavera has more airiness, is easier for me to wear, and still has a round, full femininity.

The fragrance becomes softer and softer with wear, a little powdery, and retains its warm sweetness. For me an autumn and winter scent that lasts long on the skin. Used sparingly, you can enjoy it for yourself, but when applied lavishly, it is well perceived.

Once upon a time....
...a beautiful, elegant scent. With a certain freshness, fruity and floral brightness. It was called champagne then, and like champagne it bubbled for me. I didn't own it, but if it was possible, I liked to spray it on myself.
Then it was reformulated, and name changed, and it was no longer so beautiful.
Now I have tried it again in the shop, and reminiscing, I sprayed it not only on my hand, but also on the sleeve of my jacket. A serious mistake, because after only a few minutes a heavy, synthetic scent unfolded there, which only remotely reminds one of the former Champagne. And it lasts and is very present. Unfortunately, since the jacket is hanging in the hallway, it reaches me every time I pass by, intrusive, much too heavy and synthetic. I couldn't stand it any longer and washed the sleeve. Well, sometimes you have to accept the past as past and let go! Looking back can have bad consequences

Flowers for Men
For me, the start is clearly male, the eucalyptus is leading here, I would have loved to enjoy some more of the ginger. The first half hour it is clearly on the male side, then more and more sweetness appears. Whether these are the mentioned flowers, I cannot tell. However, it becomes more and more flowery, but also a sweetness like candy is added. This seems to go into the new male direction, which I have been noticing more and more sweetness for some time. Actually I have nothing against it, but it doesn't feel really balanced. It's a pity that the ginger and eucalyptus didn't stick around, that would personally make this sweetness a bit more bearable for me.
I don't find it badly done, but also a bit boring, a bit soft, a small edge would have been good for me. Could also go towards Kurkdjian (wegduck).
Could imagine that for a sunny Saturday afternoon in the garden with tea and cake. So a day like today. (The cake was already out by noon...)

Black Panther
What a scent! He's polarizing!
But also with me, I was only repelled, he develops in the first minutes more and more animalistic, almost faecal. Then a short phase of confusion, where I am disappointed and had to suppress the impulse of washing up.
But, after about 30 minutes, the whole thing gets in order, becomes dark, sensual, warm, some dark chocolate.
I have before my eyes the image of a shiny black Panters, which moves smoothly towards me, yellow eyes are directed at me, not threatening, but very calm, calm, understanding.
The animal emits a warm wild smell, something musky, earthy, primeval wild. And very elegant, noble. I'm fascinated! And yet there is distance. Don't come near me. Your eyes will say I'm dangerous even if I don't hurt you.
The cat turns her circles, slowly she creeps around me, at a safe distance, I completely motionless. We won't let ourselves out of our sight.
The fragrance continues to flow intensively into me, becoming sweeter, heavier; vanilla, almonds, sandalwood, but still with the very intense initial scent. I can't make out flowers like jasmine or rose, although the direction of the white-flowering plants is already right.
For a long time the scent remains, becomes more velvety, calmer, the wildcat lies down at a safe distance from me on the dark earth, merges with it in the nightfall.

This fragrance is really a statement. He actually reminds me of the 80s, I imagine a woman with long black curly hair, racy, in the full bloom of her femininity. Who's a little like a panther herself. It takes courage to wear this scent, and it's not for every day. And only for women. It's a night scent, a little retro. Clear test recommendation.
