Somewhat harshly criticized.
I ordered the Discovery Box and was therefore able to test all 4 fragrances.
I'm only going to talk about this one here, but first I'd like to say something about the brand itself:

The brand Art Brüt is a small German brand from Hamburg.
And I think it's being criticized a bit harshly here. I find the 4 fragrances absolutely solid. No novelties that knock me off my feet, but there is something for everyone. Fresh shower gel fragrance, heavy oud fragrance, woodruff fragrance and BR540 fragrance. For only 4 fragrances that cover such a wide range, I think that's really okay. Especially with a small company, you should be a bit more lenient. I'm not a huge fan, don't get me wrong, but the reviews are really harsh. :D

Now to the German Angst:
You can smell cardamom and pepper relatively clearly throughout. These are nicely balanced with the "round" and "warm" ingredients such as vetiver and sandalwood or tonka and amber. The oud is synthetic, but fortunately you can't smell it too much. It reminds me a bit of woodruff, but rounder and not pungent or anything. :)

The scent also seems incredibly familiar to me, but unfortunately I can't put my finger on it. I think it's "The Woods | Brooklyn Soap Company", but I'm not sure. :)

Discovery Set is worth it, I don't feel like I've broken anything. :)

My girlfriend hates him..
...but I love him.
I catch myself again and again as I spray him on my wrist because he gives me so joy when I'm alone at home. He is initially pungent, but quickly incredibly spicy round and slightly sweet. Cistus is incredibly already integrated into the oud! For me, the winter scent par excellence. Only unfortunately I can hardly wear him...

Let it work...
Have the fragrance for just under a year and found him initially hardly portable.
He made me quickly headache, unfortunately I do not yet know quite what that is. I suspect almost the orchid...

BUT: I have now tested it again and really only a mini sprayer used and he now thus really learned to appreciate.

The fragrance notes are very well matched, he is for me very masculine, heavy but still sweet.
Oud, vanilla, plum initially clearly in the foreground. The plum subsides at some point and it remains a pleasant but fresh sweetness by the grapefruit I guess. Really grapefruit but I can not smell out.
So he becomes much softer after about 2 hours.
So you can spray him quietly 2 hours before you leave the house, at least I will do this. :)

All in all, I find the fragrance but a little too well rated. He is an absolute oud beast as I find, but also without special features.

Sillage and durability are really good for the price, however, I know otherwise rather from Mancera or Amouage.

Flacon is of course a feast for the eyes, no other flacon is so often addressed when I show someone my collection as this one.

So it's worth it all times to include him in his collection, if he is just on sale and you're on oud. :)

Strike in the offer ;)
Am actually none which often writes reviews, but for this fragrance I overcome myself gladly, at least for a short review.

Have quite early in my perfume career the "Illusione Bois Nu | Bottega Veneta" bought blind, on the recommendation of a good friend. Props go out, because this has brought me to my expensive hobby.
Always found this one super and now I bought the classic Illusione 2 years later. And I was not disappointed.

The reviews which are represented here describe this fragrance already very well, so I do not want to repeat myself too much.

Now to my opinion:
I personally find this fragrance really super tuned, he fits perfectly for me on vacation, or for a beautiful summer day, however this may look. He always fits.
There are many fragrances that fit perfectly in the summer, bspw I find the Néroli à la Cardamome du Guatemala by Chopard also an absolute "linen shirt classic" in Italy.
But the Illusione not only fits the summer feeling as with many other fragrances. Through vetiver, fir balsam and the cedar wood, it also acts at the same time beautifully warm and calm.
And just that might bother some. The Illusione is for me absolutely not intrusive, rather as already mentioned above quiet, warm, fresh, summer. You do not particularly stand out with this fragrance, but you immediately feel good when you spray it on and perceive it yourself again and again. And you radiate that!
Negatively, the fragrance can also not stand out.

All in all, a great fragrance, which unfortunately does not last forever. Is perceived after 3 hours already only close to the skin.
The flacon, by the way, I find incredibly appealing. Looks super high-quality and special.

So if he should be somewhere on offer, then it is worthwhile to strike. With the Bois Nu by the way also. :)

Less sweet than #tabacco vanilla
Unfortunately, I also have to mention "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" in my statement here.
Yes it is similar, yes they are both good and they are both great.
BUT:
They are difficult to compare. Because they have a similar mood, both are warm and slightly "Christmassy".
But Teatro here is much more grown-up, less playful, more straightforward. It is more focused and yet still a cuddly fragrance.

Green tea and vetiver are the perfect counterpart to cinnamon and tobacco. The dried fruits in Tabacco Vanilla are sometimes too sweet for me, which is why I prefer Teatro.

Unfortunately, the shelf life is really bad for me...
I bought it and don't assume that I've been punched here. Probably a really bad batch. Outrageously unfortunate... only perceptible close to the body after 1 hour.
