Focusing, fresh, grounding
An uplifting fragrance that pulls your head out of the water when you are in danger of drowning in stress and worry, and then grounds you again. Top notes: herbaceous sage and a green-woody cedar leaf that adds a needle-like freshness. I sense cannabis as an earthy-fresh hint without the sweetness that makes cannabis unpleasant for me. The heart note then becomes rounder and earthier thanks to the patchouli, but still doesn't lose its lightness thanks to the sage and conifer notes, which remain present. For me, it's a slightly darker, more down-to-earth version of
Blenheim Bouquet Eau de Toilette: the citrus is missing (I can't detect any bergamot), but this combination of herbs (here sage, there lavender) and needles (here cedar, there pine) is very comparable to my nose in terms of DNA. In the drydown, I can't sniff out any vetiver, the fragrance just gradually becomes paler.
For me, this is an almost therapeutic fragrance if you are looking for a way out of the carousel of thoughts or the hamster wheel of everyday life: Focusing, fresh, grounding.

Fluffy rice with a cuddle factor
The first impression reveals a wonderful warm rice aroma, not at all sweet and milky, but very authentic, like when you lift the lid when cooking rice in water. Topped with roasted sesame seeds - delicious!
However, this dreamlike impression fizzles out on my skin after a very short time, leaving a sweet and synthetic powderiness that ruins this natural opening. This is a little disappointing because this top note is really uniquely beautiful.
Lovers of creamy, sweet musk fragrances with subtle woody notes will still find what they are looking for with this heart and base note. And those with gracious skin that can hold onto this enchanting first impression for longer will find a unique gourmand fragrance here.

Sophisticated feel-good fragrance for introverted days
A creamy, powdery evergreen that is elegant and sophisticated and never too much.
Fragrances that want to be "white" sometimes make me feel invisible with them: too much cleanliness, too much powder, too little personality - I feel that way with
Blanche Eau de Parfum, for example. But
White is completely different, has more substance and expressiveness.
Definitely a feel-good fragrance that goes straight to the heart and base notes on my skin with clearly perceptible heliotrope, musk and all the velvety woods, vanilla and subtle resins.
On days when other fragrances in your collection are perhaps too loud and extroverted, it envelops you like your favorite cardigan. Or rather like a bouclé jacket, because
White has class and elegance. I am even inclined to say that it is a modern (!!!) cousin of
N°5 Eau de Toilette. This kind of cultivated floral powderiness certainly makes me think of this classic.

A different time - a different place - a different me?
The first whiff does not catapult me into the 1960s, which this fragrance is supposed to pay homage to, but into a bar with Art Deco design elements from the late 1920s. The juniper floats transparent and bottle-green in the room, perhaps emanating from the gin in heavy crystal glasses or is it the fleeting impression of the aftershave of one of the gentlemen present?
Emerging from this green freshness, however, it is already apparent that "Orphéon | Diptyque" is surprising. Fresh, clear rose petals are added, so that the gaze now falls on an avant-garde dressed lady who is surrounded by the aura of a mysterious intellectual. Perhaps she is a feminist, perhaps she is a student of the Bauhaus - in any case, she positions herself far away from conventions... I would love to meet this woman!
The closer I get to her, the more a powdery and chypre-like spiciness emerges. The green and the floral freshness, which were previously clear and bright and flooded with light, are suddenly complemented by another nuance that makes the fragrance darker and contradictory. By now, at the latest, you know that you are dealing with a woman who wants to showcase her profundity without committing herself to anything.
What the fragrance doesn't offer is naivety! That's why it's very grown-up for me, or rather it's not a fragrance if you'd like reality to be a little rosier, soft and cozy and warm. It challenges you!
I don't yet know whether I can accept this challenge for myself, although I would love to have the woman in this bar as my best friend. But rarely has a fragrance inspired and fascinated me so much!

Pastel, fluffy neroli and orange blossom elegance
A very feminine interpretation of bright, radiant neroli. When I first tested it, I had a chiffon dress with a pastel yellow top and a fluffy lilac skirt in my mind's eye. I love neroli and orange blossom in all their facets, but I have never known a fragrance that manages to present both in such a playful, romantic and elegant way. That's why the fragrance bears no resemblance to 4711 or a granny scent for me - it's far too young for that.
The vanilla and the other base notes, which I can't clearly smell, make it so fluffy and somewhat sweet. I even associate it with light sunscreen vibes.
The comparison with
Sintra, which I also own, is justified, but not quite accurate, as ô Féminin has more transparency and lightness for me. I tend to wear Sintra in the cooler months, but this one is definitely a fragrance for the warmer days.
