Bright soft spring floral
Micallef O féminin is another extremely refined and sophisticated perfume released by the house, which is renowned for the refinement of their beautiful perfumes. O feminin is a neroli and orange blossom perfume that has a scent profile similar to Sintra by Memo, Love don't be shy by Kilian, Istanbul by Unique'e Luxury, Melodie de Orientica by Orientica, etc. In this case they have focused on elegance and refinement. The perfume starts bright, bitter and uplifting. Then goes through a floral heart to reach fluffy musks that are not sticky sweet. For more, please watch my review after the most important niche perfumery event of the year, Esxence 2024.

Fresh and clean in the best sense
I find that this fragrance is unfortunately often misunderstood and does not deserve its average rating.
When you first spray it on, it is indeed somewhat bitter (probably due to the Petitgrain), but if you let it develop and especially merge with your skin chemistry (definitely test it on your skin!), it becomes very fine, beautifully feminine, and develops a slight sweetness, allowing the orange blossom to express itself in one of its most beautiful forms.
The scent veil around you is always fresh with a slight twist.
I love this creation.

Wanderlust
Every time I wear this perfume, it reminds me of a beautiful vacation in Italy, where you could see lemon and mandarin trees as far as the eye can see. There, I also got to know the scent of neroli for the first time, which I really like. The last evening in a small restaurant made me a bit sad, and I couldn't even imagine being back home soon. After a few days at home, my husband handed me a gift. I unwrapped it, and the first thing that caught my eye was this beautifully ornate glass bottle containing an orange fragrance. I sniffed it and immediately had the images and scents from the vacation in my mind again. The scent evokes wanderlust in me. The fragrance components are a dream. I can clearly smell bergamot, mandarin, lemon, and of course neroli, vanilla, and musk. Petitgrain, pink pepper, jasmine, rose, patchouli, and sandalwood remain delicately in the background. A beautiful summer scent.

Pastel Fluffy Neroli and Orange Blossom Elegance
Radiantly bright neroli interpreted very femininely. During the first testing, I had a chiffon dress with a pastel yellow top and a lilac, fluffy skirt part in my mind's eye. I love neroli and orange blossom in all their facets, but I had never encountered a fragrance that manages to present both so playfully, romantically, and elegantly. Therefore, the scent bears no resemblance to 4711 or a grandma fragrance - it is far too youthful for that.
The vanilla and the remaining base notes, which I can't distinctly identify, make it fluffy and slightly sweet. I even associate it with light sunscreen vibes.
The comparison with "Sintra | Memo Paris," which I also own, is justified, but it doesn't quite hit the mark, as ô Féminin has more transparency and lightness for me. I tend to wear Sintra more in the cooler seasons, but this one is definitely a fragrance for warm days.

Opens musky with white floral, develops clean & fresh. The patchouli feels vegetal-spicy, has a soft Ani-esque vanilla. Balanced and mature.

Very classic, very feminin, very not me. It's sharp citrus and flowers.

Sparkling O-flowers, as numerous as little stars.
Plus a fluffy vanilla spice.
Enchantingly feminine.
To fall in love with!

Here, a note of bitter floral vintage perfume meets modern sweetness. The result: pure inconsistency & dissonance! Brrr. Not for me!

First spray: very citrusy fresh, well, I don't know... is there more to come? Drydown: oh yes! Wonderful soft, feminine elegance. More of this!

Too peppery, too old-lady-like.
Directly irritating to the nose.
Doesn't get better in the drydown.
Image: Unfriendly, unsympathetic old lady.

60s on the Côte d'Azur, a Caprio outing. Under blooming orange trees: cold lemonade & a red rose from the waiter. Dreamy!

My signature scent. Fresh at first, then floral with a hint of vanilla. Unbeatable H/S. Nothing bothers. So harmonious. A little masterpiece.

The fragrance celebrates the grace and strength of every woman. A bouquet of delicate roses and invigorating neroli, wrapped in creamy sandalwood.
