More Coco-Peach than Coco-Vanilla
My first Mancera was recommended to me directly in Paris by the saleswoman as a trend fragrance, which has probably sold the most over the counter in 2021 - understandable, as the scent has something very attractive that makes it instantly appealing - the opening is very strong. Coco Vanille is for me very top-note-heavy from start to finish, so much so that the vanilla, which shares the name, takes a strong back seat. This doesn’t make the fragrance bad for me; it simply adds more creamy sweetness, which is clearly dominated by the peach note.
Coco Pêche might just not sound as nice as Coco Vanille, although it might be more fitting that way ;)
So, if someone is primarily interested in the vanilla aspect, I would definitely recommend testing it first. The longevity and sillage are so good that the smaller bottle size will last me a long time - but just like with Montale, this is not surprising with Mancera either :)
I can best imagine it on someone during a walk along a beach promenade, as that’s where it belongs for me.

Too much Toffee? Not if you ask me!
Just to clarify - I am 100% a gourmand fan, the crazier, the better, so you can't expect much criticism from me regarding these characteristics of the fragrance ;)
Where should I start? This scent has completely ensnared me in its sticky-sweet grip. The toffee note is truly the center of this composition, dominating the rest of the notes from start to finish - only the almond makes an effort to keep up. However, Italica does not (in my opinion) fall into the trap of many other sweet fragrances that, if not balanced enough, quickly drift into the "cheap" territory (Looking at you, Juicy Couture - although I do like some of theirs as well).
I will only briefly mention longevity, sillage, etc. - because both are outstanding.
Luxurious, extravagant, and simply overwhelmingly sweet and creamy.
I can understand anyone who finds this too much. But sometimes, too much of a good thing is wonderful, maybe you know the saying ;)

Shockingly in Love in the Vanilla Jungle
There’s hardly anything truly unique, but Aura comes pretty close. At first, the green synthetic note put me off, but it harmonizes fantastically with the vanilla as soon as it bursts through after 1-2 minutes. The longevity and sillage are truly remarkable - I can still perceive it on myself even after 6 hours, which is really a miracle for my skin. The orange blossom smooths out and rounds off the green-sweet rollercoaster ride for the nose a bit. I could wear it year-round, but I recommend being cautious with application (especially in summer), as the scent is quite heavy - but subtlety is often not Mugler's thing; they are all pretty much as extra as their bottles (by the way, Aura's bottle is the most beautiful to me!).
An absolute candidate for a signature scent that you encounter (still) less frequently than the angels and aliens of the brand.
