Seducer.
Actually, I don't really like most Tom Fords - I often find them too loud and intrusive.
Noir Extreme makes an exception here. And what a.
I see in it one of the best gourmands for men (and ladies, too) to be had in the great, indeed huge, market of fragrances.
Upon application, I perceive primarily the cardamom. Nothing scratches and stings.
The exotic fragrance note Kulfi - apparently an Indian dessert, I perceive as a "milky sweetness", in combination with the vanilla it reminds me of a very high-quality dessert. This may not sound like something you want to smell like when sober, but the entire composition applied on a cold winter evening - this comforting feeling is unparalleled.
The individual ingredients harmonize and seem to be of high quality.

Gourmands tend yes often to be perceptible even 10 meters against the wind. While some want exactly that, Noir Extreme has succeeded here a good middle ground. It's present all day, but after a few hours it's only within an intimate radius - and that's exactly what suits it. He is seductive, sensual, erotic.
He does not want to "scream" too much at all.

Chapeau, Mr. Ford.

Classic
Since I have a certain fascination for the classic men's fragrances of this world, of course, no way around "Azzaro pour Homme".
I read the first time here on parfumo of this Eau der Toilette. My curiosity was immediately aroused, and I looked online times, what prices are asked for so.
100ML for 25-30€. All right. Since I did not rumgemacht long and the good piece simply times blindly ordered.
When the much-awaited package then came, I opened it, packed the perfume from the ÖVP and held the bottle in my hand. Simple he is. A lot of plastic. But somehow he still likes.
At the first sample then a blast of anise, lavender and caraway, which seems quite scratchy. Quickly, the whole thing settles and is somewhat defused by the sandalwood. The oak moss, which is very often found in classic men's fragrances, gives the whole thing the final touch and takes you fully into the 80's.
In my head at least, I myself was not there.
As with other "well matured" fragrances of the men's world Azzaro pH radiates an immense masculinity and core. I think it's great - perhaps because that sort of thing is becoming increasingly rare these days. It's warm, but still austere. If I were to smell this fragrance on someone else, that person would strike me as well-groomed, serious and confident. As with many scents of this age, there is always a certain "freshly shaved" note that resonates. I do not know where this comes from, but I find this feeling makes the classics so special and masculine.

With 3-4 sprays in the morning I get well through the day. Always perceptible, but never too much. The scent comes with many also very good, or at least does not bother them. Therefore, also one of my favorites for work.

Who stands on this kind of fragrances, I can only warmly recommend Azzaro pH. He exudes tremendous class and has captured the 80s in a bottle.
At 30€ for 100ML can also be dared a blind purchase.

Dior Homme on steroids
Dior Homme's fragrance DNA has been one of my absolute favorites for a bit longer.
The powdery iris was then an absolute novelty in men's fragrances - at least as far as the masses are concerned. To this day, this is, as I think, implemented by no one better than by Dior.

Accordingly, the desire was also to get the perfume flanker of the series times in the fingers. And yes, the unmistakable iris note is still the main player. Compared to DH and DHI, though, this one is noticeably "darker", a bit more masculine - both of which I attribute mostly to the leather it contains. Rose and oud is also frequently perceived, I personally don't notice any of it. Great changes I then no longer recognize - the fragrance remains quite linear.
The DNA is inherently very noble and has always been very well suited for evening occasions - DHP sets in this regard again on top. The durability and sillage is enormous and is in no way inferior to other heavyweights like an "Interlude man". A single spray in the morning is perceptible for ages. If you want to wear it to work, please Swabian frugality!

Even though I'm not really a fan of strictly dividing fragrances into wearable seasons, DHP is an exception here. The powdery sweetness and outrageous performance really only makes it work in winter in cold temperatures. In heat exposure, I would not even like to imagine this atomic cloud.

I own the 100ml version, by the way, there are discussions that this should be watered down and worse shelf life - um no. Since please do not worry. I never had a 75ml flacon, but who that current is not enough, I can not help more (My opinion!).

The bottle is DH-usually beautifully worked in the rectangular glass and known simple and noble.
Who likes Dior Homme, will very likely find here another purchase candidate, but still different enough from the others.

One of the best.point.

You can't get more oriental than that.
Oriental fragrances are basically one of my favorite. Forced to stumble sooner or later on this candidate, also because it is one of the most popular fragrances for men on parfumo. Since Amouage is known to hurt the wallet pretty much, I have me first of all a sample to get.

And what can I say?

Jubilation is really an Oriental as it stands in the book. The prelude is clearly dominated by the blackberry, which for whatever reason, is not often found in men's perfumes. Immediately a resinous-smoky base develops, which is (and remains) very gentle and unobtrusive. Frankincense, myrrh, opoponax and the honey are the most distinct notes for me. To recognize all the notes that are listed here, I'm probably a little too untrained.

Similar to the Interlude one immediately burn images of the Orient, the desert and Arab bazaars in my head. It smells really heavenly and relaxes immensely.

But now to the reason why I did not buy a bottle of it. First, I must emphasize that I am not one of the faction that evaluates and buys fragrances only by durability and sillage. But with Jubilation, I was totally dissatisfied. Especially with such a DNA. Other fragrances that go in this direction are actually really at the upper limit of durability. After 2 hours... nothing. Still very slightly noticeable on the skin. I don't get it. Too bad.

This Amouage is without a doubt a first-class fragrance of first-class quality, as long as you smell it then. Unfortunately, this aspect has denied me a purchase.

My entry
As a child, I often smelled my father's perfumes and discovered my passion for them early on. At some point, I guess I was 11 or 12, I bought a cheap Playboy perfume at Rossmann. Today I would demand compensation if I had to smell it again. Anyway, one day my father had bought "Opium pour homme". When he went out on Saturday night, I would often sneak up to his closet and spray it on myself. I would then sit in my room all evening and enjoy the scent.

About the scent:
Everything begins with a sweet, black currant and clearly recognizable star anise.
Later then joins a small touch of pepper, which I myself but only very weakly perceive.
Then the real star comes into play, namely the bourbon vanilla. Warm, sweet and creamy it embeds everything in itself and lifts every time anew my mood.

Opium pour homme by YSL was then also my first own bottle of a serious perfume. 2 bottles are now empty, whether a 3rd comes I do not know yet. Since so many emotions and thoughts of me hang on this fragrance, I will probably not get along for a long time without him.

The durability and sillage is really good, it brings one well through the day. For me, one of the few fragrances that can / should really be worn exclusively on cold days, otherwise it could quickly become too much.

YSL has brought here a great fragrance on the market, in which, if at all, only little is to be criticized: the bottle is really not "se yellow from se egg" ;)
