Perfect.
I was already in love with the unique DNA of decision. My only problem with decision was that it seemed to lean ever so slightly feminine in my opinion. Decision 42 fixed that for me. It has a similar sharpness that I find in purpose 50 that is combined with the smoothness of decision. More electrifying!
In my opinion versatility has also been improved. While more dense, it still has a freshness to it in the opening. Definitely more spice, which I love. More rugged, less smooth. Performance is insane, 2 sprays is probably all you need. DEFINITELY NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY. It is a unique profile.

Oud Wood is better
Morpheus smells good, but side by side with Oud Wood, I don’t think it wins at anything.
It’s sweeter and earthier, and more resinous than Oud Wood. I get the oud, but Tom Ford’s oud smells smoother, spicier, and higher quality to me.
Performance is the bigger problem. Maybe my skin hates Morpheus or the batch variation is bad, but on me the projection is weak from the start and after about four hours it’s basically gone. I thought I might be nose blind, so I had my wife check and she agreed there wasn’t much there.
I tested both side by side and Oud Wood had better projection, better longevity, and smelled better.
Then you add the fact that Oud Wood is much easier to find in the U.S. and can usually be bought at a better price, and I really don’t see a strong reason to pick Morpheus over it.
Good fragrance. Bad value next to Oud Wood.
