Purple Pura
After purchasing Purple Accento, I was initially a bit shocked. Did Xerjoff really fill Erba Pura into the Purple Accento bottle?!
Well, I left it on for an hour to see how it develops, and to my surprise: ERBA PURA.
So far so bad... but after about, let's say, 3 hours, something else did come through: a fine subtle Oud note that really shifts the fragrance into a positive direction. The distinctly noticeable pepper also does it good.

Since the longevity lasts about 18 hours on my skin, I can tolerate the initial 3 hours of pure Erba Pura.

The projection is enormous, so it's not a scent for the office, unless you provide your colleagues with an oxygen mask including an oxygen tank. However, it should really be well received in the club.

Regarding the bottle: I still have the old one where every "diamond" is probably calculated in carats to arrive at the total price of the fragrance. I actually quite like the presentation.

All in all, I can't give a direct purchase recommendation at this price, as it is quite expensive. Nevertheless, after the 3 hours, it becomes really pleasant and wearable without any issues. My girlfriend loves it on me.

In a Brown Suit on Wall Street in the 70s
1974, Wall Street, just before 9 AM on a Tuesday: I’m frantically searching for a taxi, running extremely late. Ah, there it is. Moments later, I’m inside. Surrounded on the left and right by skyscrapers. A new trading day at the stock exchange is about to begin. As a broker, I have to give it my all to be faster than everyone else, to earn more and more money with stocks. Time and again, I catch a whiff of the perfume I sprayed on this morning. ARAMIS 900. It fits this job and this decade more than any others I know. The trading bell rings again, this time signaling the market's close. The day was okay, but there have definitely been better ones. Worn out from the day, I wash the sweat off my face and look in the mirror: brown suit, American cut, Oxford shoes, and my hair slicked back. Hmm, and what am I still smelling? ARAMIS 900. 8 hours later and with potent projection.

I would compare the scent less to Wolf of Wall Street and Leonardo DiCaprio, but rather to something more serious like Wall Street and Charlie Sheen. Not a scent for parties or the beach. A classic chypre at its finest. The rose mixed with patchouli hits hard and direct. Lemon and the animalistic civet can be detected in the background. In the end, it fades with green notes. Not for little boys. This one is for adults in suits who want to make money.

Perfect Scent (for the Car)
Before I really dove into the world of fragrances, this was one of my perfumes in 2016. Of course, I wouldn't wear it nowadays, way too synthetic and sweet, just like an AXE body spray smells. The EDT version with the "nobler" name Tobacco & Amber sticks to the skin a bit longer. Nothing to praise. In terms of scent, you get what it says on the label, namely tobacco and amber with a lighter freshness, but in the purest synthetic form. BUT I have received nothing but compliments about the scent over and over again, just unfortunately not for me, more about how good it smells in my car. Because I must confess, when the time for higher-quality designers came, this product unfortunately became unwearable for me and ended up in my car. There, it turned out to be perfect as a car scent. 10 sprays a week on the floor mats and it smelled extremely high-quality in the car every time for a week. Cheaper and better than any car perfume. So it has still found a place in my heart.

The Tender Flow of Venus
Do you know the artwork of (Roman) Venus, who stands in a shell covered only by her hair, without any clothing? A painting by Botticelli. Very famous, you’ve probably seen it before.

If I had to name a perfume that fits the situation in the painting, I would immediately mention this one.

I don't imagine that Venus smells like this, but rather the entire situation. This scent must have lingered in the air there.

Moving away from art, let’s talk more about the perfume itself.

WOW, I have never smelled anything like this before.
In the top notes, you immediately sense the mandarin, which provides the citrus, the pepper note, which adds freshness, paired with rose for the floral aspect, leather for the powerful touch, and the animalic quality of civet for the wildness. This blend remains prominent for the first few hours; later, these notes fade into the background, and the musk and incense become noticeable, with the sweetness coming from the tonka bean.

The longevity is exceptionally good for a blue scent; I can still perceive it on my skin after 6 hours, and my girlfriend can still smell it after 9 hours. On clothing, it lasts a week. The sillage, on the other hand, could be stronger, but it doesn't need to be here. As it is, it fits perfectly.

The bottle and packaging are among the most beautiful ever and definitely niche-worthy (I’m used to different standards from Creed or PdM). My girlfriend says the bottle looks like it’s straight out of the movie Alien. The logo is engraved on one side and the name "Fleuve Tendre" on the other. I’m always debating how to turn it so it looks best in the collection. The cap is metal on the outside and plastic on the inside. The box has a sliding mechanism, and the bottle comes in a small fabric pouch. Very nice. Everything is also secure with me, so I have no issues there.

The price for this perfume is currently €200 MSRP for 100 ml. I bought it blind and saved a lot through sales and coupons, getting it down to €80. I would spend those 80 euros again and again. Having also smelled some perfumes over €200, I can only say that many of them are not as good as Fleuve Tendre.

I look forward to smelling more from this brand and definitely purchasing more.

Clear recommendation from me!

The Pepper Mill
I ordered Jaguar Pace online about 3 years ago because Jeremy praised it so highly back then.
60ml for €8. Only a discount, no coupon code. It probably ranks in the top 5 of my best value-for-money fragrances. I always wore it at work or the gym, and no one minded; I've never heard a bad opinion about it.

The scent progression doesn't change too much; it remains a peppery shower gel.

The longevity is about 4 hours, with the first hour being quite prominent.

The bottle is also nice to look at and looks more expensive than it actually is.

If you're starting in the world of fragrances and want to stand out from Bruno Banani or La Rive, you can certainly reach for this peppermint tea. At this price, no one will be disappointed.
