Mysterious sensuality paired with feminine elegance
Xerjoff has once again hit the nail on the head exactly to my taste!
I hadn't thought about it for ages, but after testing it thanks to a lovely friend, it moved in with me the very next day.
I don't think it has ever happened this quickly before.
Just through its charming, purple velvet packaging, this little gem wrapped me around its finger right away, but after the first spray, there was no escaping in sight.

"Muse | XerJoff" opens with an intoxicating bouquet of a white floral arrangement closely followed by a dense, luscious fruitiness. Its particularly mysterious character is thanks to a dark, juicy plum. Alongside other floral accords and a delicate hint of sweet raspberries, the fragrance is refined with resinous notes and a subtle leather touch. This interplay makes it particularly elegant and sensual in my eyes. An absolute must-have for dates or to emphasize one's femininity.

"Muse | XerJoff" is designed so that 1-2 sprays are enough to be noticed even in the stairwell.
Although my new favorite hasn't been with me for long, it has already received plenty of compliments. And this even many hours later.

Even though it is certainly not a typical no-brainer and blind buy candidate, I can recommend "Muse | XerJoff" to anyone who wants to try something different from "Erba Pura | XerJoff", "Accento | XerJoff", or "Naxos | XerJoff".

For me, "Muse | XerJoff" is simply pure perfection in a bottle!

Vanilla in its most beautiful form!
I must admit, as soon as the words "Vanilla" or "Noire" appear on a bottle, I'm already captivated.
Secrets d'Essences - Vanille Noire not only met my expectations but exceeded them by far. For me, it's the most beautiful vanilla scent ever!

I came across this extremely warm, sensual vanilla fragrance through a swap here on Parfumo. From the description, I already knew it would be great!
If I had to compare it to something similar, I would say it leans towards Andalusian Soul, Bianco Latte, and Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette. Primarily, I am enveloped by a harmony of various vanilla notes in their warmest and most feminine form, without being overly sweet. On the contrary: cedarwood adds a delicate woody note, and mimosa brings a hint of floral quality. Every component in Secrets d'Essences - Vanille Noire plays its role brilliantly and has its reason for being. Moreover, in my opinion, it is an absolute all-rounder: a sensual romantic for the evening, a cozy companion for cold days, an everyday hero for comfort, and pure femininity all in one.
It simply does everything right!

Sillage is fitting for the fragrance. It doesn't scream, but it is always present in a close-to-skin form and lasts a good 8 hours on good skin condition.

As much as I would love to recommend this fragrance further, unfortunately, it is not so easily obtainable anymore. I am all the happier to have gotten my hands on a specimen. Those who are lucky might find it somewhere used at a rather high price or, like me, through a swap on Parfumo. I would advise any vanilla lover to grab it immediately, as it is definitely worth it!

New Favorite Cheapie?
It all started with an additional gift from a lovely Soukerin here on Parfumo.
I was neither familiar with "Andaleeb | Asdaaf," nor would I have found it particularly exciting based on the fragrance pyramid. Thank goodness our paths crossed anyway, because I would have missed out on a lot. Often, one has to be "forced" into happiness.

Now to the scent:
The opening starts off very intensely for me with a juicy/sweet, typically yellow pear. There’s also a hint of spice floating around. A variety of bright, spring-like flowers as well as jasmine make their appearance as the fragrance develops. The balanced and slightly bitter caramel note brings the necessary twist that adds a certain excitement. Finally, sandalwood joins in and hints at a delicate creaminess. The scent is very harmonious and well-balanced and definitely deserves more attention. Those who enjoy these little freshly baked tarts with caramelized pears and whipped cream will love this fragrance.
Primarily, Andaleeb leans towards an everyday scent that is perfect for spring. Its extremely feminine bouquet makes the fragrance feel very womanly, enchanting, and comforting. It is simply beautiful through and through!
Sillage and longevity also perform above average. I feel like I can perceive the scent on me forever.

Andaleeb simply brings me pure joy.

The Warm Cherry-Amaretto Scent for Well-Being
For me, once again, a dreamy creation that always transports me back to Italy. Whether it’s the extremely creamy gelato with amaretto and juicy dark cherries, the cherry/almond liqueur as a digestif, or the homemade cream desserts, beautifully decorated with a maraschino cherry on top... all of this is united in Duchessa. Soothing, cozy, veeeeery elegant, and simply delicious. A dream in a bottle for all cherry lovers through and through. For me, it’s the most beautiful cherry scent currently on the market. Zero synthetic, not too sweet, pleasantly spicy due to the saffron component, rounded and graceful with cocoa & orange zest, and extremely exciting with the many other impressions that emerge and warmingly embrace you.
It adapts to every situation and is, for me, an optimal and versatile all-rounder for the day, cozy evenings, in the office as a mood lifter, to emphasize one’s beauty and femininity, for going out in the evening, and much more. When you’re unsure which scent to wear today and are pondering too long in front of your perfume collection: Duchessa simply works every time!
On me, I can perceive it for at least 10 hours, and it leaves an exceptionally intense, yet not too overpowering sillage. You will definitely be noticed with it, and very positively.

In conclusion, I can say that I never want to miss this exciting cherry dream again! A clear recommendation for all cherry lovers and anyone who wants to smell irresistible.

New Favorite Leather Fragrance?
...as long as it's powdery and leans sweet, bring it on.
Once again, Parfumo has enlightened me. Leather can also be really cool and feminine!
After my review yesterday of "Cuir Béluga | Guerlain," the next leather fragrance has already captivated me. This time it's "Vanille Leather | bdk Parfums." I see parallels between both fragrances when it comes to the slightly powdery, sweet leather note. A true sense of well-being spreads within me with this composition. Nevertheless, the two fragrances can be easily distinguished due to different influences.
The Vanille Leather has, in addition to leather and vanilla, a higher floral component (bright blooms and definitely the violets come through well), which makes the fragrance very suitable for spring. Personally, I even perceive a delicate and pleasant sunscreen note. It clearly goes in a powdery and creamy direction and has something very well-groomed about it. This makes it very practical for everyday wear. It is a bit more reserved than "Cuir Béluga | Guerlain," but you can still perceive it very well. The progression of Vanille Leather is rather linear; at least I don't notice any further development of the scent throughout the day. So you know right from the first spray what you're getting into. However, this doesn't make it any less exciting.
I perceive the fragrance on my skin for a good 8 hours, and on clothing and hair even longer. The sillage is not overwhelming, but definitely a solid 8/10.

A successful all-rounder from bdk!
