Masterful Citrus Fruits with a Short Lifespan
For me, Afternoon Swim offers one of the most authentic mandarin and orange notes I have ever smelled. The combination with ginger and amber perfectly complements the citrus fruits. It instantly exudes pure Italian vibes and is, for me, of absolutely equal quality to Imagination or Pacific Chill.

Unfortunately, there is a big but: The performance and price-performance ratio are disappointing. On my skin, it lasts no longer than 3 hours at most. Reapplying is an absolute must here, which, given the high price, is of course painful. Anyone looking for the perfect summer scent and willing to take home the bottle or a decant will still love it.

The bottles can be refilled at the LV store for a lower price. This is very convenient compared to other manufacturers and makes the high initial price somewhat more bearable in the long run.

Designer Exception
Actually, I am not a fan of designer fragrances, as many of them are too mainstream for my taste. However, Prada Luna Rossa Black is the big exception here. It is a very special, elegant, and powdery scent that stands out from the crowd. For me, it is clearly the best from the entire Luna Rossa line. The longevity and sillage are above average.

Despite its uniqueness, it is a true all-rounder and can be worn in any season. It particularly shines in the office, as it is present but never intrusive. I have been wearing it regularly for years and am absolutely convinced of the price-performance ratio - for this price, you hardly find anything of higher quality.

The Perfect All-Rounder from PDM
I am absolutely positively surprised by Sedley. The fragrance starts extremely clean and fresh with a wonderful combination of bergamot, mint, and aquatic notes. What particularly convinces me is the later woody drydown, which gives the perfume depth.

For me, it's an absolute all-rounder that can be worn almost all year round and even looks great in the gym. The longevity on my skin is surprisingly good. One of the best fragrances from the house of Parfums de Marly.

Freshie with a Vintage Touch
I am not really a big fan of Xerjoff/Casamorati, as many of the house's fragrances often seem too loud or too playful to me. But this one has pleasantly surprised me.

It is a very fresh scent that exudes clear barbershop vibes for me. It has that clean, masculine grooming that one expects after a classic shave. It is very similar to Creed Silver Mountain Water, but the Casamorati DNA gives it a unique twist.

The longevity is average, which is perfectly fine for this type of fragrance. It is worn more often in summer, as it shows its full strength in the heat and never becomes annoying. Despite the rather moderate performance, it is a real compliment getter - I have been approached about it several times.

The price is reasonable, especially considering that you get a higher quality presentation and a rounder scent progression than with some other alternatives.

My absolute favorite for warm days
For me, this is the best summer fragrance I have ever had in my collection. What stands out immediately: The longevity and sillage are very good, which is unfortunately not a given with freshies. Despite its strong presence, it is not intrusive.
The scent leaves a soapy tea aroma that feels incredibly clean and well-groomed. I receive many compliments and am often approached.

Admittedly, the price is high, but the quality absolutely justifies it for me. The bottles can be refilled at the LV Store for a lower price. This is very convenient compared to other manufacturers and makes the high initial price somewhat more bearable in the long run.

It has become my signature scent that I can always rely on. In my opinion, LV makes the best freshies.
