It's finally here. I'll try to be brief. I was blown away by the smell when I took the lid off. It reminded me of "Oajan | Parfums de Marly" and "Spicebomb Extreme | Viktor & Rolf". A really lovely Christmassy scent.

First spray on the elbow. I almost didn't want to trust my nose... the thing really stank and I found it very unpleasant to smell. It was like smelling "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton" for the first time. It's probably the oud.

But after about 20/30 minutes, just wow... Really nice depth and sweetness. The honey is very recognizable. Somehow I still smell cinnamon... Longevity is a board.

The biggest side effect of Side Effect for me was that it really took me a while to like it. The first time I smelled it was in KaDeWe. I put it back there completely disgusted and wondered who buys such nonsense. I don't think I was expecting such a dark, tart fragrance. I tested it again 3 months later and I didn't like it then either.

Then I thought I'd order a bottle and have a proper look at it at home over the course of a whole day.

Suddenly I was thrilled. It was probably because I smelled so many fragrances in one day that I didn't recognize its potential.

Now I really have to say it's one of the most beautiful date and night out fragrances I've ever smelled. It goes down well with women because of this "boozyness".

However, as far as dates are concerned, I think the "XJ 1861 Naxos | XerJoff" is still further ahead. But the fragrance is still a great change and definitely smells unique!
