As I am a fan of many Narciso Rodriguez fragrances, I was all the more curious to test this one. On the test strip in the perfumery, I thought I could smell cherry in the first opening. However, I was given a sample and was allowed to test it at home in peace. My initial assumption was not confirmed on my skin. The peach is very present at first and competes for first place with the vanilla. A delicate powderiness and the typical Narciso Dna remain in the background. It was too much for my nose at first, too sweet and somehow too restless.
About an hour passed and I liked it more and more. The fruity fragrance components now hold back, while the scent becomes increasingly powdery and creamy. It still remains heavy and I find H/S quite good.
Personally, I wouldn't say that the new Narciso is a groundbreaking discovery. Simply because it is too similar to its predecessors in the drydown. And I have to say that I don't see any similarity to Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum, as you can read in the other reviews. (Fortunately, because I am absolutely not a fan of this one and would have washed the fragrance off immediately)
Narciso fans should have a lot of fun with this fragrance.

It was love at second smell with this fragrance. When I tested it for the first time, I put the bottle aside faster than I could spray it properly. Besides My Way Eau de Parfum or Velvet Vanilla, the world already has enough sweet chewing gum fragrances, I thought to myself. Then came the exaggerated sillage and the perfume really overwhelmed me. So I washed it off, it was too much for my nose.
As you would expect from many Montale fragrances, the longevity should not be underestimated and I smelled the fragrance very intensely even after washing it off. BUT what was left behind literally cast a spell over me!
I couldn't believe how beautifully this fragrance unfolds. Peru balsam was something I never wanted to do without again. It felt like a comforting embrace to smell this fragrance. So I sprayed it on again and waited.
I only really notice the wild strawberry in the form of the chewing gum note and it becomes a little more subtle in the drydown and is no longer overwhelming. Now you can also perceive the vanilla and almond. Peru balsam and white musk make it incredibly creamy, the sweet synthetics remain present throughout. I also had my boyfriend test it and he perceives the balsamic as minimally medicinal. Perhaps the previous speakers find it "musty". By no means is this fragrance a blind buy candidate (as with all Montale fragrances), but it is definitely worth testing. I also think this is Montale's most beautiful bottle. It makes my collector's heart happy.

Is the tonka bean in the room with us? Excited by the scents listed, I ordered a bottle of Tonka Cola. I was so sure that I would like this fragrance so much that I was about to order it blind! Fortunately, I didn't do that. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the black cherry or the tonka bean at all. The first opening was citrusy and delicious. Really like an authentic cola. Then the spices joined in and I was disappointed but laughed when I realized that these components made this fragrance smell like the Vietnamese soup that I couldn't get enough of.
Due to the fact that I can smell star anise, even if nothing is listed.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I recommend going to a Vietnamese restaurant and trying it. (It's worth it, it's really delicious! :) )
The fragrance is not bad, I think it just needs more chances from my side to wear it seriously.

I'm a big Mancera fan and I was particularly excited about Velvet Vanilla. In my search for a fruity, sweet spring fragrance, I thought I had finally found what I was looking for. The pear and blackcurrant in the first opening made me believe that this was the right decision.
Then tuberose and white musk joined in. And suddenly it came to me. This fragrance smells like a mixture of My Way Eau de Parfum and Love Don't Be Shy Perfume
It's not bad for me, I'm a fan of both. But unfortunately it's nothing that you can't smell on every corner since 2018.

Christmas market, sweet pastries and good cheer. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I sprayed on this fragrance. I ordered "The Most Wanted | Azzaro" blind for my boyfriend. And I find it so delicious that I want to wear it myself. The opening is almost fresh and clean, but also very masculine. But what kind of beautiful drydown is this? It smells sweet and creamy. Not overly sweet, but the vanilla and toffee make it incredibly beautiful and gourmand. It smells so cozy and warm and fits PERFECTLY into the cool season. This fragrance retains this spicy note from start to finish, but without being overpowering. The spice tends to stay in the background, but brings in the recognition value.
