The Most Wanted Azzaro 2021 Eau de Parfum Intense

Bang!! Right from the beginning you get an extra sweet, very thick, sticky candy feeling. If you thought that Wanted By Night was too sweet, you’d better stay VERY far away from this one; it takes the sweetness to the next level. It’s an almost lollipop-esque sweetness.

The projection lives up to the expectations that the entire Wanted line sets, easily reaching out 4ft+ and the sillage trail it leaves absolutely fills the room. Longevity also leaves the Wanted family strong and proud, going an easy 8+ hours.

Definitely one for cold weather nights, and it will definitely be either loved or hated. Those like myself that like the sweeter feeling fragrances will enjoy it, and those that hate the scents like Stronger With You, Invictus and XS will despise it.

If you’re trying to find it, just call your local Macy’s/Dillards type department store and ask if they have it in stock, as I couldn’t find it online, but they had it in stock, so I ran out to grab it.

I'm in the process of testing the Wanted series of fumes in the order of their release, only including those that are still available as FBs. The Most Wanted EdP Intense is the third so far, the other two being the OG, Wanted, and Wanted by Night. The subject of this review, The Most Wanted EdP Intense is the best one so far. It opens with a dry and pleasant cardamom note. For some reason, I've been under the impression that I don't like cardamom but in this case, it was pretty good.

As Most Wanted dries down, the sweetness picks up and the toffee note appears along with vanilla. For me, it was more toffee or caramel, with the vanilla being a part of it not standing out as a vanilla fragrance as such. The sweetness was quite reasonable - not a diabetic crash inducing sort. A little while longer and a mildly woody and earthy scent appears under the toffee. The base note provided in the pyramid is vetiver but here it's pretty smooth, not sharp. All together, a pleasant and masculine fragrance.

Performance was pretty good. Longevity was at the bottom end of strong with a weak skin scent still noticeable around 12 hours. Projection was good providing a 6' scent bubble for a couple of hours.

While generally nice, the scent struck me as rather boring, without any depth. In the designer realm, I find Pasha de Cartier Noir Absolu a much better caramel type fragrance.

Wow. This is genuinely the sexiest most edible cologne i’ve ever smelled. That first whiff you get that toffee with that beautiful cardamom. It just screams confidence. This was one of my first colognes. I wore it in high school and people loved it. It has amazing longevity, it lasts about 9-10 hours on my skin, and it projects fairly well but it doesn’t choke people out or give headaches. I get so many compliments when I wear this cologne. If you like standing out and breaking people’s necks, Please buy this. It is worth the money 1,000%. Would buy 100 times over.

This fragrance has had many people turn heads and as me what i am wearing. It is a very good fragrance for an everyday or even a date night. I am a 6'4 (194cm) and I attend at Mogwarts university ran by our priceable Cinco. Many people have asked how i smell so good but i gate keep because it is so good to wear. I mog everyone around me because i am a mogger and i mew 24/7 this is why i am wring this review because i can never talk to people since I'm mewing. It is a very woody, calm, spicy, and vanilla a bit. I wear this to college every day and i mog everyone there. The longevity is very long i can smell it still before i hop in the shower at night time and i apply every morning before i head off. Very good fragrance for the amount of money it is. The Most Wanted Intense opens with toffee and cardamom notes that immediately capture your attention. This toffee-spicy pairing grabs me at the start and does not let go. It is really fantastic! As a linear scent I get to enjoy it throughout the lifespan of the fragrance. Though sweet MWI is not too sweet. Though a vanilla scent the vanilla is not a bully. Though spicy it is not too spicy. It’s smooth! Real smooth… After the impressive introduction the experience gets better. The sweetness settles down, making it more appealing. MWI is like a friend whose company you enjoy. One who knows when to speak, when to listen and how much to say.

The Most Wanted Intense is my favorite in the line. The ginger of The Most Wanted Parfum is nice too, but I am reaching for MWI 7 out of 10 times if those are my options. The cumin in the heart of Wanted by Night ruins it for me. I prefer MWI more than the Stronger With You line of fragrances also. MWI may be my favorite designer fragrance. Hmm… I may like Guerlain’s Idéal EDP and L’Intense more. Maybe…

Many want better performance from MWI but this has not been a challenge on my skin. I get strong projection the first 2.5-3 hours and above average projection for 3 more. Longevity is 8-9 hours. I enjoy whiffs of it all day.

I will spray this without reservation in every season except summer. However, if I have a taste for it, I will reach for it confidently then too.
