Once again, something about this great, now huge Narciso Rodriguez For Her line. The flagship fragrances of this line are of course the two scents
For Her Eau de Toilette and
For Her Pure Musc Eau de Parfum. These are likely the bestsellers of this line. However, there are many more that deserve a bit more attention. With a score of 6.6, here’s a fragrance that could be considered poorly rated: the Eau de Parfum Intense, which was freshly released this year. Of course, with designer releases, every year flankers of bestsellers are sold. Whether it fits into this line or not, it’s all about marketing. I find this one, in contrast to the majority, really good as it adds great fruity notes to this clean DNA. Floral notes also make it easily a Fruity-Floral, but it is balanced in my eyes. It should be clear to everyone that it goes in a slightly different direction than the others in this line with the peach note. I like peach, especially in women’s fragrances. Thus, I like this EdP Intense.
Perfumer Sonia Constant has created some great bestsellers, including some from this Narciso line (like the Pure Musc). She certainly has talent. This fragrance seems to divide people a bit. Available in 30, 50, and 100ml, the price is relatively reasonable. Like most of the releases, you can get these fragrances for a relatively normal designer price.
The red bottle is quite beautiful and fits well with this sensual peach. Otherwise, everything is as usual with this line.
In terms of scent, this flanker goes in an individual direction. Of course, some accents from previous releases are present, but with a completely new twist thanks to this fruity peach note. The peach note is not so fruity-fresh, but rather warm and sensual. Thus, I see this more as a transitional scent for spring and autumn rather than for really warm temperatures. This sweet peach smells truly attractive and has something totally sensual and appealing. I cannot confirm that it goes too much in the gummy bear direction; however, this peach note is also not too authentic. Great musk notes follow, which are actually characteristic of this line. These notes have a clean, fluffy, and slightly powdery character. Floral notes also come into play, making this creation very feminine and fitting wonderfully with this musk note. I specifically perceive white flowers. In the base, warm notes of vanilla, amber, and musk emerge. A great dry down from these sensual notes provides a wonderful finish, and I find this creation very harmonious. A very modern release with peach, making it super wearable for young ladies but also for those of more advanced age. The scent is theoretically suitable for everyday wear, but even better for evening wear. It is not too intrusive, but it does stand out.
Performance is really good and lives up to the Intense name. You easily get 8-10 hours of longevity, and the projection of the fragrance is also relatively good.
Overall, a great feminine and sensual flanker that you can try out if you like notes like peach. This fruity note makes this DNA very lively and should also appeal to the masses. One should not be deterred by the poor ratings, as fruity-sweet women’s designers are often somewhat penalized.
