Journey through Marrakech
A day at the market in Marrakech. On vacation. I walk through the streets and see all the spice stalls. In the middle of it, an older gentleman wants to sell me some roses. I move on and perceive all the wonderful oriental scents wafting through the air. But it is warm. So I look for something to cool down. Amidst the oriental fragrance and the rose sellers, I see a drink stand. It is a bit further away, but the scent of a cold, sweet cola draws me in.

That was immediately my feeling when smelling the fragrance. Strong oriental notes and a bit of rose, and somewhere hidden, the clove from the base note combined with the floral accords reminds me of a cola.

It's a shame that Aesop's fragrances generally don't last very long; otherwise, this scent would be even better. However, in my opinion, it is definitely one of the better fragrances in terms of longevity and sillage.

Wonderful Affordable Rose Scent
Every time I enter a store and see perfumes, I have to sniff them right away. I was surprised to discover three fragrances in the Marc o Polo store, with the name "Earth" immediately catching my attention. However, what came as a surprise was this incredibly strong dark rose that I absolutely did not expect, and yet it thrilled me very much. Somehow, it smelled luxurious to me.
Since I had been searching for a rose scent that I liked and that wouldn't completely break the bank, this fragrance stayed on my mind. Until one day, while browsing the Marc o Polo website, I found this scent as the only one of the three on sale for a mere 40 euros. I grabbed it right away.
Once home, I sprayed it on immediately and enjoyed this wonderful rose, although later in the drydown, I did perceive a slight feeling of an overly strong sweetness, almost like grape sugar. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the woody notes and the rose are unbeatable for the price and a real insider tip!
