Roses and Gummy Bears
disclaimer: Just got Mohra Silky Rose in the mail last week. It hasn’t had time to calm down.

My first impression is a juicy tart opening, where the rose and lychee combo pop. There’s a bit of pink pepper, but it’s giving more fruity brightness.

On dry down it is clean and powdery, with soft musk and vanilla coming through.
I think it’s going to mellow and smooth out with maturation.

Apparently it is supposed to be similar to Penhaligon’s The Favourite - and why I ordered it. I also like to layer roses with cherry and smoke. It reminds me more of Elizabethan Rose, but not really either. The sweetness reminds me of Attrape-Rêves, but without the Cacao.

I like cheap thrills.

It makes me think of a precocious little girl who likes to sit in her grandmother’s rose garden, reading victorian books while eating gummy bears.

Between Candy and Rose Hair Mask
Barely had it arrived, and it had already left me again. My best friend, who calls herself a "rose hater," casually took this little treasure with her during her last visit. Is that significant? Possibly. Since she is really picky and has absolutely no use for niche fragrances, it can definitely be said: "Mohra Silke Rose" is pleasing!

Scent:
On my skin, the fragrance starts off very, very sweet. To my nose, the intensity of the sweetness is already on par with "La Vie Est Belle," although less fruity. In the first few minutes, I can clearly smell the rose with lychee, all resting on a fluffy vanilla base. Shortly after spraying, the scent is a "brick." Very sweet, very present. After about 10 minutes, it becomes creamier and very vanilla-like. After 2 hours, I can only smell the creamy-sweet musk base on my perfume-absorbing skin. Definitely more cream than powder. The floral notes have almost completely disappeared.
The sillage is really very strong at the beginning. I can only agree with my predecessor on that. Unfortunately, it fades for me just as (too) quickly as the longevity. It's conceivable that more sensitive noses perceive it differently..
I find the scent relatively linear. Not much happens, except for fruit/flower -> vanilla/musk. The former retreats, the latter takes over until only cream remains.

Scent Impression:
My first association was: "Oh, how sweet! This is a scent you would expect from someone aged 13." After wearing it several times, I can say: Mohra Silky Rose does smell youthful, somewhat innocent, but not only that. In my opinion, the creation oscillates between girlish and well-groomed. Between candy and rose hair mask. Overall, it is a pleasing fragrance and surely pleasant for many noses. Not necessarily beautiful and the most magnificent thing one has ever smelled, but quite nice.

When? Where? Who?
For me, it would not be suitable as a mature woman in a work environment. Normally, I am quite carefree in choosing my fragrances concerning my surroundings. However, this one radiates exactly the opposite of seriousness and competence for me. I would fear being taken less seriously, perhaps even just subconsciously? Due to its poor longevity on me or the fact that I simply can’t perceive the scent well anymore after a short time, I would also have to reapply by noon at the latest. Not optimal.
For me, it’s more of a scent for home, when I’ve had a beauty day and want to feel particularly feminine and 10 years younger. Surely also nice and fitting for girls' nights on the couch. The creation is lovely, cute, soft, and cuddly. The bottle matches that. In my opinion, it’s an absolute spring fragrance and not bad at all.

Conclusion:
A creation that makes you feel not like a queen, but like a little princess. Sweet and well-groomed. Sometimes that’s not so bad.
The scent quality is definitely worth the price.
A top blind buy gift for your 13-year-old niece. Without irony, a recommendation from me! :D

Transformable Rose
I have been registered here at Parfumo for six years now, and this is actually my first review!
I always admire everyone who writes such great texts here that you can almost smell the fragrance just by reading...
I am not someone who can use grand words. I prefer to write short statements. With Mohra Silky Rose, for the first time, I found that the description of the fragrance could not be packed into a few words.
I received it as a (requested by me) birthday gift.

The first few sprays I often spray into the packaging box, not on my skin. At first, it smelled very much like alcohol. Once that faded, the rose immediately came to the forefront. I immediately thought of a wild rose. A pink wild rose. Accompanied by a fruity, slightly green freshness. Fresh, rosy - perfect for spring, was my first thought.

On paper, the scent remained exactly the same and did not change anymore. Therefore, my surprise was all the greater when testing it on the skin! The start was the same here - but after about half an hour, there was no freshness or fruitiness left.
The fragrance had developed into a real powerhouse! Even my child, who is used to Mama always being perfumed, noticed that the scent was very strong!
This part is difficult for me to describe. The wild rose was overshadowed by a deep red, strong rose with sweetness and spiciness and simply...wow. I can't describe it any other way, forgive me...The musk? I don't know. This is how the scent lingers for a long time.

In the evening, I sniffed my arm again in bed - another scent! Now the vanilla comes to the forefront. Patchouli floats lightly in the background, and the rose has now transformed into a lovely sweet, pink rose. Rose cream with vanilla. Hmmm. This is the most beautiful part of the fragrance for me, which unfortunately can only be perceived closely.
Because the fragrance transforms so much, it is suitable for me to wear both during the day and in the evening. Moreover, except for summer, it is also fitting for every season. I am already curious to see what the spring air will do with it on my skin!

The bottle does not look particularly elegant, but rather a bit cheap. Not a problem! The content is pleasing.
Thank you for reading!

A mix between delina, the softer parts of oud satin mood, roses vanille and drydown of la nuit tresor/modest deux

Musky rose, light, girly.
Oriental and sweet. I personally love the bottle! Was the reason I bought this. Longevity is not that spectacular

Sweet, pink roses. It's a "pink" fragrance through and through.

Cute little fruit rose with vanilla accents that is pink through and through, but not too overpowering. but the DD little too monotone sweet

It leans towards a failed fruity floral, coming off rather sweet-synthetic with a lot of musk: generic.

Initially fruity from the lychee, this scent quickly becomes more rosy, softer, sweeter, and powdery. Beautiful progression and great value for money - top at H/S!

Read the comments - bought the fragrance - shocked at how sweet it is! I associate it with younger girls. Rose-vanilla-cream. Pretty and cute.

For me, a fruity, slightly sweet rose with a special touch that you don't smell every day...beautiful, a scent for special occasions.

The scent for the bride's sister - powdery/sweet, yet subtle. A breeze of Narciso Poudreé + Delina La Rosee. #understatement
