Oud - will it ever become love?
Dear fragrance lovers.
In my second attempt with the certainly high-quality XERJOFF - Alexandria II I still do not come closer to the mystery OUD.
Unfortunately, the access closes to me and I can not get anything from this particular smell.
I smell mainly burnt lavender and wood, all other smells are overlaid by it.
Neither fruit, rose, or anything sweet comes through for me.
Mind you, this is my subjective impression!
This perfume is without a doubt high quality and has here very many lovers.
Too bad Alexandria II, was probably nothing with you.
In general, I would recommend every OUD newcomer necessarily get a bottling.
Mine may move on.

So, after the shower sprayed with Versace pour Homme Dylan Blue.

Starts with bergamot / grapefruit and gentle aquatic touch.
Then becomes slightly peppery, ambroxan makes itself felt.
Very aromatic, finely tuned, for me a pleasing scent.
Sillage average, durability could be a little better in my opinion, too bad.
It does not always have to be Dior Sauvage or Aventus Creed, Versace pour Homme Dylan Blue
is for me a serious alternative.
So, a wake up call to all the "older" generations, the fragrance very much goes...

This is how my E46 M3 smells
It's been a long time, but now the fragrance is back in my collection.
I can not help myself, when I close my eyes, it smells first of the engine compartment of my beloved M3 and after a while the sensation moves to the interior to the gray-black leather. Unfortunately, however, it was only a short trip, so about 150 km, there were namely only just under 20 liters in the tank.
Eyes on, I stand on this fragrance, but the durability could be better.
But you can refuel yes ....

Second try
Bottling in the Souk with 10ml bought, thanks to Memento20.

At least that's how I imagine it.
Forgiveness, this was my first conscious contact with oud.
Enormous intensity, the whole room was contaminated.
So far, so good.
Wanted to give the fragrance another chance two weeks later, today.
This time, however, in the hallway, two sprays, no, unfortunately does not work, no chance.
I now know that oud and smoky scents are not for me.
