I had already written a statement about this fragrance, but after testing it for a longer period, it definitely deserves a proper review.

I must admit that the scent didn't really blow me away at first. I didn't find it bad at all, but initially, it felt a bit "unremarkable." However, over time, I noticed, for example while gesturing, how a beautifully pleasant sillage wafted towards my face again and again.
So, I found myself more often wanting to smell my wrist over time.

Sometimes there are fragrances that need a bit of time for you to truly grasp their beauty, and this one is definitely one of them.

It is definitely a fresh green scent, which normally isn't my preference, but the vanilla note adds a slight warmth and sweetness that simply makes me feel good. You can't really pick it out explicitly, but you can tell that there's something there that somewhat "brakes" the fresh coolness and allows the scent to merge with the skin. And although I would describe the fragrance as rather subtle and quiet, I did receive several compliments during the few days I tested it.

So, in conclusion: I absolutely need the bottle!

I personally find the scent (especially in the travel size) perfect for summer and warm vacation days :) The fragrance is, since it is an oil, very subtle and not too overpowering. It reminds me more of a body lotion that lasts a long time and less of a typical heavy coconut perfume. For some, it might even be “too little,” but for people with a sensitive nose (like me), it comes highly recommended!

As for the fragrance notes, I often read that Balinese Coconut smells purely like coconut to many. I can't fully agree with that, as on my skin the floral notes are also quite present, which I actually like :)

At first, I didn't find the scent bad, but after wearing it for a few hours (just one spray that accidentally landed on my finger while testing on paper), the scent became worse and worse until it ultimately triggered a migraine attack for me. Even after showering and washing my hands multiple times, the smell just wouldn't go away. So my conclusion: way too intrusive, penetrating, and synthetic.

I got a bit carried away by social media and bought a perfume blind for the first time. Yes.. I think I’ll avoid that in the future.

I can imagine that the scent will appeal to some people, but unfortunately, it’s just not for me at all. There’s something about the fragrance that bothers me; I think it might be the slightly woody note since I’m just not a fan of woody scents at all.

I had envisioned something completely different from this fragrance, a pleasantly powdery-vanilla scent that is rather subtle. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. The “powdery” aspect in this fragrance doesn’t come through for me, and the woody notes unfortunately dominate. In my opinion, the scent is also not very subtle, and I find it has a slightly sharp quality to it.

However, I must give credit to the perfume for its longevity; it really lasts a long time (which is more of a disadvantage for me right now because the scent is just annoying me). So, anyone who has already tested the fragrance and likes it can definitely look forward to long-lasting wear.
