Admittedly- the question may seem oddly out of place as a headline to a perfume commentary at first.

For this, however, one must know that this review has come about in the course of a picture test. The dear First has put together a great hiking package with 9 fragrances of which each of our round was allowed to choose and keep one - of course without knowing which fragrance it actually is.
Since the letter has reached me as the last, and I thus no longer had the agony of choice regarding the fragrances, but in return all 3 remaining were allowed to keep, I would like to share my experiences & thoughts on these with you.

But now finally to the fragrance:
The tube that I just hold in my hand is made of plastic, adorned by a handwritten "number 5". The liquid has a delicate pink / peach tone. I open the lid and sniff it. My first impression : Sweet, possibly a touch in the fruity direction - sweet red berries?

Curious how the fragrance will smell on me I spray a blast on my wrist. At first, it smells like alcohol. A few seconds later, the berry note (raspberry?) becomes more prominent whereby I'm still a few seconds later not sure if it could not also be an orange blossom?
Really amazing what one so everything goes through the head if you do not know which fragrance you have in front of you.
But I am sure of one thing - the scent is really sweet ;) Immediately the association with La Vie est Belle comes to mind. I compare with La Vie est Belle Eclat - which I have at home and must say - my "number 5" is definitely even sweeter than the La Vie est Belle Flanker. Nevertheless, I think I can guess a certain DNA.

As it progresses, the fruity components become more subtle to my nose. I now perceive more sensual, cozy notes such as vanilla, tonka bean or even brown sugar and I like the fragrance increasingly better. After about 6 hours and half a working day, the scent is still perceptible but has become very skin-like - the fruity note has almost completely disappeared. If the sillage was really excellent at the beginning, the scent has now developed into a skin scent. After a good 8-9 hours I perceive him on my skin nothing more.

While testing, I close my eyes again and again, smell my wrist and imagine the person who wears this fragrance. I see a young attractive woman in my mind's eye, who knows exactly what she wants. She is often underestimated - but in reality she has it fistful behind the ears. Sometimes she is a little too loud, does not know her limits and can quickly once become a little much - but impresses just men by their self-confident nature.

In summary, I really like the fragrance - however, he is not my favorite among the remaining three. Personally, I would wear it all year round except on the really hot summer days. For work, he would be a little too loud for my liking and is more a fragrance for leisure or evenings.

I am really glad to have participated in this experiment and would like to thank the dear First once again for this experience. Who's interested, which can also read my other two blind comments. I hope I have not embarrassed me ;)

These exact lyrics from "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" immediately popped into my head when I first smelled this scent.

Since this review comes about in the course of a blind test, I know at this time but unfortunately still not what fragrance it actually is. Before me is only a sample "number six" which has sent me the dear First in the context of a hiking package. Many thanks at this point once again for this great experience.

When I smell "number six", I see myself lying under a palm tree right on a white sand beach by the ocean, slathered in luxurious sunscreen and a pina colada in hand. Somewhere nearby, a beach bar is playing said song. The sun shines on my face and I am relaxed and happy. Holiday feeling from the bottle, so to speak :)

But how is the holiday from the bottle aka Pina Colada composed in my opinion?

- Quite a lot of pineapple (Especially in the prelude)
- A shot of rum
- Coconut cream
- Whipped cream
- A pinch of good mood & sunshine

I may be absolutely off base with my comment - who knows. However, thanks to this experiment, I have found a wonderful, great summer scent for me :)!
For some, the fragrance may be a bit too sweet for the hot days despite the summery components - for everyone else, I can recommend it without reservation. Also H&S are good to very good and hold a holiday day definitely withstand :)

Even if the fragrance tends more in the feminine direction I can imagine him also under certain circumstances as a unisex fragrance - Because Pina Colada is finally there for all ;)!

This review is created in the context of a blind test. The dear First has sent a package with 9 fragrances on the road, of which I may now write a blind comment to three.

The tube with the "number 3" smells like lemon from the outside. I spray some on my wrist and perceive increased citrus notes, possibly bergamot. But also a floral component competes in the prelude with the freshness.

Immediately I have to think of a fragrance: "My Burberry" which I used to wear very much. However, this was a little creamier and slightly sweeter in my memory.
Fitting to "My Burberry" my mental fragrance journey also starts in England. I see myself walking through a rose garden in a trench coat. It has recently rained and it smells fresh and flowery.
As my journey continues, I am in Italy by the sea. A light breeze caresses through my hair and carries the fresh sea air to my face. Flowers are now no longer here, but I smell herbaceous notes like sage. Also, the citrus freshness from the nearby lemon grove continues to accompany me

Unfortunately, my fragrance journey does not last too long, after about 6 hours, the whole fun is also already over. The sillage was just fine even for a very fresh fragrance.

For me an everyday / day fragrance for the warmer season & spring.

I do not like pears. And to smell so was therefore also never at the top of my wish list - Until one day a dear colleague after lunch break with a perfume sample came back to the office.

"You have to try this one - it suits you. You like sweet fragrances".
Somewhat skeptically I sniff the sample..and it was love at first smell.

Even if La Belle as a classic designer fragrance would probably have to fall more into the category 'mainstream', it is still unique.
Whenever I wear it I feel comfortable, sexy, confident. The perfect balance of the sweet pear, the vanilla and the wicked touch (is it leather? Is it the roast aromas?) is an absolute masterpiece.

Who is looking for a light summer fragrance will of course not find a new great love in La Belle. However, who appreciates heavy fragrances with the "certain something" should dare here but in any case once the Riechtest. La Belle stands out, is sensual and you definitely attract the attention of fellow men on itself.

On my skin, the scent keeps loose a whole day through and also the silage is fantastic. However, you should be aware of dosage here!

All in all, La Belle has really become one of my favorite fragrances and will always have a permanent place in my heart and especially in my perfume collection :)

Admittedly - Pink Sugar is like the name already reveals an absolute sugar bomb.
But who thinks that the fragrance is therefore boring or only something for teen girls, is wrong in my opinion.

If I now try to put the fragrance into words, I would describe it as a mixture of fruit tea with rock candy sugar, vanilla and caramel.
Amidst this sea of sweetness, I perceive a super interesting note that just makes me want more.

And so it goes apparently not only me ?..Allegedly even Kylie Jenner is supposed to personally call this perfume their own.
Either way, Pink Sugar is at least for my little nose an absolute feel-good and good mood fragrance

Durability and Silage are really good and surpass even loosely some high-priced competition.

Lovers of sweet and gourmand fragrances can dare at this great price-performance ratio in any case a blind purchase?
