With Purple Flamingo, it has to be said quite clearly: you have to like iris.
Whether in the opening, after a few hours or in the drydown - the iris remains present throughout and characterizes the fragrance from beginning to end.

If you know Orange Flamingo, you will definitely recognize the relationship. But: Purple Flamingo is significantly drier, more serious and has a much more sedate overall effect. While Orange Flamingo is more casual and light with an open shirt, Purple Flamingo wears a suit.
A clean fragrance - but with an adult, almost dark character.

The durability is - typical Marc Gebauer - again really strong. The sillage is also good, albeit a tad more restrained than its orange brother.

I clearly see Purple Flamingo in more formal settings - office, business appointments, evening events. For me, it is the more serious, more mature fragrance in the Flamingo range.

The price is a little higher, but you also get a high-quality, elegant fragrance with character. And a must-try for iris fans anyway.

The name fits perfectly. This is exactly how I imagine a beach party in Malibu: Coconut, lime - sparkling, sweet, tropical.
The fragrance starts off really fresh and refreshing, but above all it is beautifully sweet. The sugar note, as it is in the fragrance tree, is definitely noticeable.

There is a hint of rum in the background right from the start, which becomes stronger and stronger in the drydown and replaces the lime over time. This brings in a beautiful depth and slightly alcoholic, warm nuances - like a tropical cocktail that slowly softens in the sun.

All in all, a brilliant summer fragrance. I am really thrilled.

And the best thing is: if you're lucky, you can get it for an unbeatable price of around €100.
A real no-brainer for me at this price - it belongs in every summer fragrance collection.

When I smelled Orange Flamingo for the first time, I was honestly a little surprised - the scent immediately reminded me of freshly washed laundry. Extremely clean, almost too clean. So it took some getting used to at first, as I had imagined it to be more fruity.

But then I wore it - and my opinion changed completely.

Orange Flamingo simply gives you the feeling of being incredibly fresh, well-groomed and "ready". The fragrance is not loud, not intrusive, but very present in its freshness - and that's exactly what I like so much.

What surprised me the most, however, was the longevity. I mean, we're talking about a fresh fragrance here - and yet it lasts forever. it lasts 12+ hours with ease. I've really never experienced that before in the "freshies" category

For me, Orange Flamingo is not so much a statement fragrance, but a perfect daily - one that always makes you smell good and never overdoes it. But you still shouldn't overdo it with the sprays.

Wearable all year round, but it really comes into its own on warmer days. Totally my thing

I tested Vendetta for the first time on a slightly cooler day - and what can I say: Wow.
I honestly didn't expect it to be like this.

When I saw the fragrance notes beforehand, I thought I was in for a pure iron scent with a slight Dior Sauvage vibe - metallic, fresh, perhaps a little rough. But no: Vendetta is completely different.

The fragrance is very masculine, spicy and slightly sweet at the same time. The listed "iron" as a fragrance note had prepared me for a completely different direction, but Vendetta surprises: it is much warmer and more wearable than expected. Very present, very distinctive, but not unpleasant.

The durability is extremely strong - it lasts for many hours on me. Even days on clothes. The sillage is also above average: Vendetta is definitely a fragrance that gets noticed.

Fragrance-wise, it's totally my thing. For me, it's absolutely wearable all year round, although I have to say: It's a striking, very prominent fragrance. That's why I won't wear it every day, but rather on special occasions.

Vendetta will definitely be one of my signature scents - I'm sure of it.

I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely top: a real recommendation for what you get.

For me personally, it's also very unique - I've never smelled a fragrance like it. I'm sure some fragrance connoisseurs will now say that it has similarities to fragrance XY - but from my perspective, Vendetta really is something unique.

Immediately after spraying it on, there is a really nice, tangy fruitiness - clearly lime and lemon for me. At first, I immediately had the feeling that the fragrance reminded me of something. I didn't think of it at first, but then it came to me: "Torino21 | XerJoff". At least in the opening, I associate it a bit with that - in its very own way, of course.

After around 30 minutes, the fragrance changes: it becomes creamier, a little softer. A subtle vanilla note is added without the freshness being completely lost. This tangy fruitiness remains noticeable and makes Marzocco really interesting for me.

In the drydown, what remains is mainly a pleasantly soft vanilla that doesn't come across as heavy, but finishes beautifully warm and gentle. At this point, it is a little similar to Private Garden.

The longevity and sillage are of course not in the top league, but this is also due to the fact that Marzocco is a rather fresh fragrance and not a heavy powerhouse. However, as I sometimes become fragrance-blind quickly, this may of course differ from reality.

All in all, a top recommendation for the summer.
