Mon Chéri on Musk Dream
The Blessed Baraka is probably my favorite fragrance from Initio. It starts off almost exclusively with a cherry note, which doesn’t smell fruity like in Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum or "Duchessa | Gritti," but rather creamy/tipsy like the pralines from Mon Chéri. Alongside the cherry, the musk is also present in the top notes, but it remains more in the background. After about 30-60 minutes, the musk overtakes the cherry and blends with the creamy sandalwood to create a creamy, woody, and spicy base. The base then remains consistent throughout its longevity, thus relatively linear. I perceive vanilla and amber rather subtly throughout the entire fragrance journey.

The longevity and sillage of this fragrance are good, but not world-class. In the first 1-2 hours, the scent projects well, after which it envelops you in a warm musk veil. The fragrance fits very well in autumn, winter, and cooler spring days; in summer, in my opinion, it is only suitable for cautious application in the evenings when going out.

Personally, I find this fragrance absolutely magical and hypnotic. When I spray it on my arm, I constantly catch myself sniffing my arm. The scent is perfectly unisex and can be worn by both men and women. In my view, it accentuates creative and reserved personalities that radiate a mysterious aura outward.

Mystical, dark, seductive. Anyone delving into the Initio brand should definitely test the Blessed Baraka.
