Hätten sie auch noch Pfauenfedern, würden sie mit geschwellter Brust ein Rad schlagen...

Im Ernst, das hier ist ein Duft für alle, die gerne, viel und überhaupt ständig im Rampenlicht stehen wollen und müssen, um ihrem extrovertierten Seelenheil Genüge zu tun.
Einen "Latin Lover", einen klassischen "Büchsenöffner" haben wir hier; aber auch einen herrlichen "Hinterherschnupperer", sofern er nicht raumgreifend, sondern behutsam verwendet wird! Doch, der gefällt mir; obwohl ich mich zuerst so spöttisch ausgedrückt habe.

Man muß ihm ein klein wenig Zeit geben, diesem "Zeus", seine geballte Ladung von allem animalisch Ambriertem auszubreiten und dann, nachdem die erste voluminöse Umwölkung weitergezogen ist, die substanzierten Sequenzen - die auch noch intensiv genug sind - wohlig zu geniessen.
Sein erdiges, weihrauchiges Oud, das den Duft ausmacht, bekommt man nicht mehr aus der Nase; er umgarnt, betört, verführt göttergleich und lässt jeden Verführten hoffnungslos dahinschmachten...

Die Haltbarkeit ist, wie bei den meisten oudigen Schmeichlern, hervorragend, was das Verbleiben auf der Haut von Stunde zu Stunde aufregender macht und der Phantasie viel sehnsüchtigen Spielraum lässt...

Sex in a bottle

This is a pleasant warm woody fragrance, consisting of milky rich sandalwood artfully blended with subtle vanilla, and gently sweetened with aromatic boozy rum, accompanying the heavy notes of amber and musk.
It has some kind of creamy - plum vibe to it. It projects like monster from 2-3 sprays and last a good 10-11 hours.
I just love this fragrance.

Hauntingly addictive

Blessed baraka is one of these perfumes that gets better every time I wear it, even though it doesn’t fit in any of the categories I normally associate myself with. I have been into florals since I can remember and only started appreciating resinous recently. Blessed baraka according to Fragrantica has only 3 notes, but when worn it smells more complex. It’s beautiful from the first spray but the dry down is where the beauty lies, it dries down balsamic and slightly sweet. I wish I could pick out the individual notes but all I get is sandalwood with hints of sweet amber, I get gorgeous cloud that’s similar to ambre eccentrico and lune feline without the sweetness of the former or the smokiness of the latter. I could swear there’s vanilla in the dry down but I don’t see it listed. It is appreciated by colleagues and friends and got me quite few compliments. The name is also special to me, baraka is one of these words that cannot easily be translated, sometimes it’s translated as a blessing and others its the concept of bountiful and unlimited.

Beautiful Scent but Very Masculine!...There's Nothing Unisex About It!

Hello There Fellow Fragrance Lovers!! So I will start by saying I love the name of this scent, " Blessed Baraka". It's part of the reason why I chose to sample it. Blessed Baraka is a beautiful smelling fragrance. However getting down to it, in my humble opinion there is nothing unisex about this scent. Nor is it simply " masculine leaning", this is a straight up and down cologne, all day long, no question about it!! I must say, I think this would smell downright criminal on a man.;-) If you can resist this scent on him, you're the real M.V.P and you deserve a gold star! Lol!!. I feel those sandalwood and musk notes would sing when mixed with masculine pheromones. I'd also like to note, Blessed Baraka is no doubt a beast mode fragrance. You will smell this clear to Neptune just from 2 sprays!! Only 2!!. Since this fragrance was not for me, I decided to wash it off. Well good luck with that, I washed the area 3 times and it smelled like it barely moved. This clung to my skin like white on rice!! I had to later add 2 fragrances on top just to get the scent stop projecting after I'd washed the area 3 times. Although its not for me, I'd still highly recommend this fragrance!

Simplicity

This is a simple but deep slightly sweetened vanilla/amber with some hints of something fruity in the opening. The first few moments present with a surprisingly bold petrol/boozy edge, but wait it out. Fairly linear with just the burst of fruit (berry?) and that few moments of intensity in the opening. Tailor made for cool fall nights. The long dry down is smooth and sweetened amber and sandalwood. A big, big love for me.
