Love at the Second Spray
I received a sample of Zafferano over a year ago, sprayed it on, and thought right away: yuck. Way too floral, synthetic, and just weird - absolutely not my thing.
The sample ended up in the drawer and was forgotten.
On vacation, I randomly packed it again (without looking at what it actually was) - then sprayed it on in the evening and was completely stunned. The scent developed completely differently, suddenly warm, elegant, with a floral-herbaceous blend that was just fantastic. I couldn't stop smelling myself.
Yes, it is definitely floral, but the more bitter notes make it feel distinctly masculine to me - to be honest, I can't really see it on a woman. Not a scent for every day, it's too special for that, but in my opinion, it's wearable in any season.
The performance is strong - the scent lasts long, has presence, and you will definitely be noticed (compliments included).
It's not a bargain price-wise, but with a bit of patience, you can often find it at a reasonable price.
But before buying, it's better to test it a few times - it can come across completely wrong at first.

Patience pays off!
Asad Zanzibar is one of those scents that took time to grow on me. At first, I honestly found it quite musty - a strange, dull note that just didn’t fit the tropical theme. It smelled somewhat moldy, as if the fragrance had already gone off.
But after a few months of aging, everything changed completely: suddenly, a really lovely, warm coconut comes through, pleasantly creamy and noticeably rounder than at the beginning.
For me, it works best in early summer - as soon as it gets really hot, it’s just too heavy and too “in your face.”
A tip from experience: don’t spray it on light clothing. It stains - I learned that the hard way on vacation.
Overall, an interesting coconut scent with power, but not an all-rounder. If you let it mature, it becomes good - but there are lighter and more elegant alternatives that have a significantly better coconut note.

A wonderful scent!
The Honor & Glory is, unlike many other fragrances from Lattafa, not an inspiration from another expensive scent but, in my opinion, a very successful original creation.
Admittedly, I ordered this fragrance (like many other Lattafas back then only available online) blindly based on the notes, even though reviews on the internet had torn this scent apart: it is too spicy, too piercing, too synthetic, and so on.
But after the first spray, I was immediately thrilled! It smells fruity and creamy, but I must honestly say that I had no association with Crème Brûlée. It quickly becomes spicy and sweet and remains pleasantly noticeable for many hours at least for me. And others will smell you too. Guaranteed!
Personally, I see the scent more for autumn, but due to the pineapple, it is also wearable on cooler summer evenings!
Anyone who likes loud and heavy fragrances should definitely give this one a try; in my opinion, it is a very unique and beautiful creation from Lattafa.

The Scent of Rain and Earth
I ordered Encre Noire by Lalique blind - it was everywhere on social media, and luckily I got it at a good price. By now, the prices are so high that I wouldn't buy it again.
When I first sprayed it, I was honestly shocked: to me, it smelled like someone had packed damp, moldy earth into a bottle. But the more I tested it, the more it captivated me. With this fragrance, I discovered my enthusiasm for vetiver.
It smells earthy, dark, and mysterious - almost enigmatic. For me, it fits perfectly with rainy days or walks in the woods, where it reveals its full effect. The longevity is strong, and the scent reliably accompanies me for hours.
Encre Noire is not for every moment or for everyday wear, but when the mood is right, it is incomparable.

Woody, sweet, and unforgettable
I first smelled the original in Sweden - and since then it hasn’t left my mind. I searched for an alternative for a long time because it’s not exactly cheap, and next to a Zara scent, this is the best choice for me.
The opening is woody with a slight, creamy sweetness from the coconut. A mix that stands out strongly, which is why it should be applied with care. The longevity on my skin is brutal - even after showering, I can still smell it on my skin the next day, and on clothing, it lasts for days. So far, I have received compliments every time.
Officially, it is listed as feminine, but for me personally, Fursan White is clearly unisex with a tendency towards the masculine. A scent that lingers - quite literally.
