The perfect scent for a straight man in his late 30s (let me explain)
The moment I first smelled this perfume, I immediately imagined my dad, wearing fragrances like this ~10 to 15 years ago.
My mind instantly jumped to a man with their hair combed back, lots of hairgel and a black button-down shit. He loves fast cars and puts on their sunglasses the moment the sun comes out just a tiny bit.
Does this smell like a "Boss"? No, it smells like a Hugo Boss wearing man. It smells like someone who WANTS to be powerful, but really isn't.
This is a scent profile that every man is familiar with, it's nothing new or exclusive. This will not make you smell unique in any way, if that's what matters to you.
BUT: It's a great perfume! It lasts very long, it projects softly around you & it doesn't smell synthetic. The fruits smell very genuine, as if someone has just cut up bergamot and pineapple and you get that fresh first bite.
As you get closer with your nose, it turns mossy and "strong feeling". Over time, the fruitiness passes (it takes hours) and you're left with a woody and mossy profile.
This is a well crafted perfume, but I cannot lose this deep association that I have with this profile and the men who're wearing it.
If you are a straight man with a corporate job and you like fast and expensive cars, this is genuinely the perfume for you.

The real fragrance is truly lost in translation and that's where it shines the brightest
"The revelation of an unknown landscape thanks to a daring accord of smoky, aquatic and metallic notes" is how Maison Matine describes its scent.
But to me, none of the descriptions fit the actual perfume. What I get is a soft, fresh and sweet juniper and white tea scent with a woody, musky and peppery base. Do I feel deceived? Maybe a little bit, but I'm not mad about it, because I got something else that's very pretty~

Lost in Translation smells nice and airy, it's not offensive or "daring", as they say. It reminds me heavily of
CK One Eau de Toilette , to where it's almost as if you swapped out the citrus notes with a sweet Juniper.
And it's so nice to get those whiffs of sweet berries during the first hour after applying. Sadly, the projection fades around the 2-hour mark and remains as a close skin scent for quite some time.
Lost in Translation is a superior
CK One Eau de Toilette in every way (not that this is a contest, but still).
To me, this is a wonderful summer fragrance. I think it will shine the brightest when the sun comes out as you sit in a park and enjoy a fresh beverage.

The art of seduction!
I've owned a bottle of this perfume for almost a year now.
Every time I'm applying it, I feel this rush.
I don't know what it is with some Sorcinelli perfumes , but that first whiff... It's truly exhilirating.
There's something deeply sexual and BDSM-esque about this fragrance. It reminds me of latex gloves, orange-flavored condoms and lust.
A fine balance between citric-floral notes and the leathery latex scent makes this feel very elegant, in a way.
It's a very artistic and sophisticated fragrance, but don't get discouraged because of the score. Please make sure to try this one yourself

Herbal ointment aromatherapy with a ginger cardamom tea on the side
A lucky grab at the drugstore led to me finding one of my main spring and summer scents!
It's advertised as a male fragrance, but to me this is unisex (just like any perfume).
This perfume has some great qualities: there's that chypre, patchouli with lemon and ginger.
Lovely combination of green notes and an uplifting citrus, really brightens it up.
The more you spray, the stronger the greenness gets. And with it comes a sort of balsamic, ointment-like quality, which is very soothing.
It's a very calming scent to be around.
Sadly, you have to be pretty close to someone to actually smell it, but at this price point you might as well spray a little more.

Jazzy fireplace under the stars
my immediate thought after first smelling this one was:
"Whoa, is this a REPLICA clone?"
and I'm still not sure if that's an adequate way to put it. There are some striking similarities to "by the fireplace", "jazz club", and "under the stars". To me, it feels like a combination of the trios' nicest elements.
You get that leathery, smoky opening, but it fades rather quick and leaves you with a spicy, boozy caramel-ish scent that is very soothing and warming.
After 3-4 hours you're left with woody musky remnants.
Great for cold & rainy days for anyone, regardless of gender identity
But ultimately, I decided to call this perfume an "hommage" to the named trio of Maison Margiela.
And if you were interested in trying any of the three but you're unsure which one to pick, maybe try this one instead!
And who knows, maybe you'll stay at the jazzy fireplace during a starry night
