Bright But Earthy Spearmint

While I do have both the EDP and the Body Spray (and the shower gel, and shaving cream, and mouth tablets, and scented oil) I do like the body spray best. It does not quite have the depth as the EDP, but it offers the refreshing natural spearmint with some earthy undertones that I really enjoy for summer. I also found this great to layer with anise oriented scent profiles. One in particular scent is Blue Sugar, which is pretty much the only way I can wear that fragrance without feeling juvenile (I am too old to pull off these youthful candy fragrances. Longevity and performance is still great, and the body spray lasts quite a long time, and is less expensive than the perfume. Really just a nice zen type scent to wear when you want to relax and cool down.

I think this is bad

I really try to give every fragrance I obtain a week of wearing before I review it because I think you need a bit of time to form a competent judgement. I've never disliked a scent enough to just stop wearing it during my week trial. I wore this for 3 days and after that I couldn't do it anymore. This is the first time I couldn't a whole week of wearing.

This smells like spearmint gum with a hint of natural food store smell, flat out. The spearmint is exactly the same spearmint accord in toothpaste and gum and mouthwash. It's like 80% of the scent experience. The other 20% combo of aromatic herbs is there, no doubt, but I can't pick out the tarragon from the lavender from anything else. Natural food stores have always sort of smelled like old pay-doh to me, and that same effect is in the background here. The drydown is a bit better because the spearmint tones down so the balence between the accords is better, but it doesn't really smell different.

It doesn't feel like a finished, professional scent to me. It smells way way wayyyy too much like gum and toothpaste. Even though all kinds of personal use products have fragrance, perfume is supposed to be a different scent experience. When a perfume smells too much like a Yankee candle or a laundry detergent or a body soap, it has failed in some way. This fragrance smells like I'm brushing my teeth with spearmint toothpaste after chomping down on some really heavily herbed, non-salty bread.

It performs well at least. For being a body spray, it stuck to my clothes for more than 24 hours, and on skin it was still detectable after 7 hours. I do think it's really sensitive to friction though, so if you put it on your arm and are wearing long sleeves you might get closer to 4 hours. It projects like hell for the first 30-60 minutes.

The bottle is easier to use than you'd think. It was very easy to spray it on myself despite the windex bottle design. Plus there's a little stopper thing to block the spray handle from accidentally depressing.

Chewing gum herb garden

This is my boyfriend’s signature scent, and maybe I’m biased, but I love it. The spearmint has a chewing gum quality to it that makes it really refreshing and invigorating, but with a sweetness that peppermint doesn’t have.

If it was a colour, it’d be a slightly murky, but still bright green tinged blue. It’s got some really fresh herbals, like an aniseic tarragon, warm lavender, and a grounding mossiness, like a windowsill herb garden. One of the more ‘masculine’ Lush fragrances, and so soothing when you have a cold!

masculine lush smell

I enjoy dirty a lot. Its not my favorite lush scent, but it's definitely one of my favorite to wear. It's a clean masculine smell. It does have strong spearmint scent to it but it still has a nice earthy aroma beneath it. It reminds me more of cheap mens cologne than chewing gum. It has pretty strong projection and lasts quite awhile. For strongest scent definitely pair with its solid version as well.

Unfucking fassbar

I probably would have never bought this scent if I hadn't experienced it on my sister first. Minty-fresh and unmistakable! I find it absolutely special... in my opinion, it's suited for bold women and more fitting for men. It lasts all day and beyond. There is only love or hate - nothing in between. I like it in the summer after showering and having a gin and tonic on the beach ?
