The Mona Lisa of the Perfume World Exhibited at the Musée du Xerjoff
At the outset, I must clarify that Naxos was my first niche fragrance that I tested. Therefore, I am probably not entirely objective.

In the heart and base notes of Naxos, a fascinating melange of sweet tobacco blossom and honey is revealed. In combination with vanilla, Naxos creates a long-lasting, elegant foundation.

The fragrance is enveloped in a pleasant and floral freshness. Together, the scent acts like a sensual dance between floral nuances and warm, aromatic accords.

The subtle sweetness of the top notes harmonizes perfectly with the vibrant heart and base notes, and together they unfold an experience of timeless sophistication.

The distinct fragrance notes work in full harmony together, giving the scent a deep, seductive dimension.

If Naxos were a painting, it would hang in the Louvre next to the Mona Lisa.

Joop Homme aka Soft Cake Orange
When it comes to the price, sillage, and longevity, there’s not much to say.
The scent easily lasts a workday in the office, and you don’t need many sprays.

For the price, the fragrance is a no-brainer.

About the perfume in general:
The perfume is part of my collection. However, it doesn’t feel that way.

I’ve had the bottle for a good two years now, and it’s still half full. There are days when I just feel like wearing the scent, and then there are times when the perfume is ignored for months.

With the scent, I always have an immediate association with Soft Cake (Orange).
For me, the fragrance is like a winter dessert on the table that no one disturbs, but not everyone reaches for.

But those who do reach for it will not be disappointed.

Conclusion:
You can, but you don’t have to.

Quality at a Low Price
I have thought for a long time about whether I should get this fragrance.
Often with a summer scent at this price, the initial excitement and the fragrance quickly fade away.

However, I must advocate for this perfume.

You get very good quality for a "pocket money price".

The scent starts very fresh with a dominant mandarin-bergamot note.
For me, the start is a bit too sweet, but it's good that the sweetness fades relatively quickly.

After about 10 minutes, the sweetness and freshness settle down, making the scent very suitable for everyday wear.

Over time, the freshness diminishes but remains present throughout.

The freshness is enveloped in the dry down with an oriental, woody note, which gives the fragrance a certain something.

Longevity and sillage are above average for a summer scent. On my skin, I easily perceive the fragrance for 6, 7, 8 hours.

Clear recommendation for anyone looking for a nice, affordable summer fragrance.

The Unconscious Favorite.
Often, I don't think much about which fragrance I spray on in the morning.
However, this summer, I unconsciously noticed one.

Versace Eros is the secret favorite.
Time and again, I reached for Eros in the morning rush. Although I was never aware that I wore the scent so often, I emptied the bottle in just a few months (100 ml).

Normally, I have fragrances that sit at the front of my perfume shelf for a few days and then move to the back after a week. But Eros managed to adorn the front row all summer long.

What I particularly like about this scent is that it stands out in everyday life, but in a positive way. The fragrance is noticeable, and the combination of the freshness of mint and the fruits makes it, in my opinion, the best everyday scent for summer. Often, fresh notes in summer fragrances fade away, and the scent becomes hardly perceptible. This is not the case here; after the freshness, in my opinion, the second half comes with the vanilla note.

You either love or hate the DNA. In my case, it's clearly love, which is why Eros was my unconscious fragrance favorite this summer.

Now it must make way for the cold, dark days. But I'm sure we'll meet again.
