Hard?
I was expecting a much more chypre, earthy-woody-leather smell.
Something very strong and hard.
Yes, there are those notes, but for me they are mixed with something sweet-fruity.
The perfume sounds smooth.
I wear it as an everyday perfume when I want a soft balance. A vintage scent, but I love that kind of stuff.

Tender, classical love

I never thought I would like this type of fragrance so much.
My sister wore it years ago and I loved it. I stroked his delicate, refined train.
Ceruti 1881 is probably the only soft, floral fragrance I really like and enjoy wearing now. It sounds to me like a sophisticated cream of white flowers and a warm summer breeze.
Its durability is remarkable.
