Mhhhh fresh
I like many fragrances from the Replica line and Afternoon Delight was a successful blind buy. Unlike what I expected, it starts off like a fresh summer breeze (similar in feel to Beach Walk). If sunbeams on a sunny spring morning in Paris had a fragrance, this would be it. A very nice clear and not too cool or scratchy musk opens this fragrance on my skin. A slightly nutty bitter almond (and it's really bitter), plus a delicate hint of madeleine (such a nice cake base/biscuit scent mhhh) comes into my nose. Probably the lightest and airiest gourmand on the market. Your Skin but better - interpreted by a French patisserie.

What is that?
For me, this is the most difficult fragrance I have ever had in my nose. How should I describe this fragrance? It feels light and heavy at the same time, like nothing but then something. I don't find it flowery. It rather reminds me of a green, dusty cactus standing in the hot desert sun. All around it is a reddish, dusty stone desert. I smell the cactus and the scent is somehow dry. I also smell a flower. Is it a white, barely fragrant blossom from this cactus? There is also a woody green note. Is it from the cactus? I keep smelling...in the distance is something bitterly citrusy, like a lemon peel. Strange scent. But the name fits perfectly. It really is like extraterrestrial...
