No disappointment
Tested in the store and almost immediately taken, because the store detective had break. No, because I was so fascinated by the top note! Wild honey, ginger, butter. It just smells delicious. Somehow, I also immediately thought of oud, probably because I liked the name "The Oud Affair" so much too. In fact, I'm like many in that the oud is hard to detect even upon closer sniffing.
By mistake, I sprayed some on my sleeve and about 2 hours later I had noticed a completely different scent. I smell and smell and miss the honey. And smell and finally get it: Tobacco Vanilla! Lighter, more subtle though. More wearable if I may say so. That's quite a remarkable transformation!
Really a sophisticated alternative to Tobacco Vanilla or Mugler's Havane. I really like smelling this fragrance. The quality also lives up to the price. Something special can not be said, however, because it is too similar to the two above but. Also, the bottle, which looks so bulky, heavy and valuable in the pictures, it is not in real. The glass is quite thin and the plastic lid somehow also seems slightly fragile.
Nevertheless, no disappointment. A great perfume house, high-quality content and so bad looks the bottle with the stylish inscription also again not. Who is looking for tobacco and vanilla with a special opening and stands on niche, which will me "The Oud Affair" very happy.
In conclusion: I prefer to write only about the fragrances that I own myself and have worn over a long period of time and on different occasions. To be honest, it also annoys me when some sniffs briefly at a test strip and then thinks to be able to judge a fragrance immediately. However, since hardly anything has been written about "The Oud Affair", I hope to have given those who are interested a few clues. Vilhelm Pafümerie is not offered, after all, in every miller.
At the very end: The department store detective came then nevertheless faster again, than I could sink the thing in the bag. No! I love vanilla and the scent is really wonderful, but personally I do not want to smell like vanilla, which is why this Vilhelm has not made it into my collection. Maybe it will come in the future, or another creation by Jerome Epinette, who gave me a great summer freshie with Cèdre Atlas and also knows how to convince with "The Oud Affair"

Be brave!
Sounds great! Aqua Brava! And then the comments! Classic! Noble and elegant. Honest, straightforward, masculine.
Price tip! Yes, there is even talk of love. Aqua Brava! What are you a miracle water?
I'm also on the old advertising and this whole Spain thing. Price tip is really true. 10, - €, so ordered without much thought. And what arrives? Price tip? Well, cheap stuff. I can cope with a tenner. Doesn't matter. The bottle is also quite nice. Only with the smell I can do nothing. Old Men Fart. Well, who likes it.
For me it is clear, no more blind buys. I already have enough ml in the cupboard to stand me probably my whole life properly sprayed. But if, then with the right stuff!
Conclusion: life is too good to smell bad.
To all: No offense! If you like Aqua Brava, then have fun with it. That with the Alt Herren F*rz just had to get out, but a stinker Aqua Brava is also not. And finally, I must also learn to buy fragrances not after the comments of others, but to make my own picture.
So people: stay brave ;)

No TdH replacement
Ginepro Nero, this small matte black bottle. It's something! Do you have to compare the Profumo necessarily with Terre d'Hermès? If one
TdH knows you can not help it, because immediately at the first Whiff you are reminded of the popular designer. Draws Ginepro thereby the
shorter? If one stands on the Terre in TdH, then definitely.
If the expectation is that you get a TdH, then you are bound to be disappointed. But if you feel like playing with the fragrance a little,
maybe differences herauszuriechen, then you have fun with the Nero. After 1.2 hours, he reminds me hardly TdH, instead remains a
fruity, wacholdiger smell with low durability and silage. Well suited for everyday life and leisure, if you want something inconspicuous, but not
completely without fragrance on the road would like to be.
Conclusion: no TdH replacement, instead a nice, playful variant in this area.
And who does not know the TdH? The I would recommend because of the better silage and durability to reach straight to TdH.

Personality goes a long way
He is not high-class. The bottle is also not a designer. And the quality of Tom Ford is purer. But Havana has personality.
He makes you feel good in your stomach. He is cool and probably a member of a biker gang. In his leather jacket, a stylish switchblade and a pack of tobacco. If there's
Stress, he settles it with his fist, without kicking when the opponent is on the ground. But a gentleman like Havana has no stress at all. He's so round and has no
angular nuances. Was well brought up by Mama where he was for coffee this afternoon. He still smells like lily of the valley, rose geranium and jasmine from her garden. On the forest path
he brushed against a fir tree. You have to get close if you want to sniff him and he doesn't stay long. Life is too short to worry too much about his eau de toilette
make. For this he is also already too long there

Versace Eros - the designer
Flatteringly enough, an ex-girlfriend gave me this fragrance. To flatter my masculinity, I tell myself.
Right away, I did not like the eau de toilette. Zitronig-spritzig, minty-fresh: I imagine the fragrance of the Greek god of "covetous love" with angel wings differently. Because sensual-warming and seductive, this scent just isn't. The squeaky-bright tones of this young Eros do not whisper intimate desires in the lover's ear. No, the young, synthetic apple tones instead giggle youthfully, unbridled, gourmand and sweet.
The fragrance comes with a lot of image. The head of Medusa outlined by Greek arabesques on the
turquoise green flacon. This is 100% Versace. There you have to stand on it. Mature and adult is not that. This is gaudy, poppy and flashy with neat silage and long - well, potency. A "beast" in this category, but a ladykiller? Absolutely not, it lacks any sensuality for that, but it certainly commands attention.
Under this name, you could have marketed something classic or sensual-natural. But this is a modern Eros, which waves with colorful flag to his fashion house. Versace has brought a good mood fragrance on the market, which smells like Versace
looks like. A leopard print sweater on the V-E-R-S-A-C-E logo emblazoned in bold letters.
With the appropriate expectations, you get your money's worth here. A designer through and through. Bling-Bling.
