fresh, watery floral for a couple hours
A very pleasant, fresh, watery, delicate, sweetly transparent, floral fragrance.
It stands out particularly well in rainy weather.
However, after two hours, it turns into the scent of someone who needs a shower, and that’s just gross.
I love Mugler, but in this bottle, the musk (or ambroxan?) is doing its dirty work.

Digging for Buried Treasure in a Pine Forest
Whenever I spray this and close my eyes, a vivid picture pops up in my mind: digging for buried treasure deep in an evergreen pine forest. I smell the crisp, raw scent of stony soil, chopped pine roots, fragrant resin oozing from the wood, and sparks striking stones with every hit of the shovel... Absolutely magical! Any second now, I might finally hit that treasure chest buried decades ago!)

I genuinely love it. I would wear it myself in a heartbeat just to live through this incredible fairytale in my imagination, but the heavy vetiver makes it a bit too weighty for me. On my husband and my dad, though, it smells fantastic! Especially on my dad (he’s in his 60s) - my dad elevates this fragrance, and the fragrance elevates him =)

The "Rose-Less Rose" That Stole My Heart
I love this rose-less rose! I get a sweet pink rose, a slightly bitter carrot seeds note, and a soapy freshness from jasmine that softens the whole composition. Then comes a faint, subtle bitterness, almost like a green rose stem.

It really stands out from other roses in my collection (and I do love roses!). Longevity is great on my skin - solid 8-10 hours overall. It creates a noticeable scent bubble around me for about 4-5 hours, and then settles into a soft, gentle skin scent with moderate sillage. Most people around me notice and enjoy it.

I fell for it from a sample vial and just upgraded to a full bottle. I’ve been wearing it non-stop for days: it's lovely, intriguing (I still can’t quite put my finger on what makes it so peculiar, yet everything feels so harmonious), and joyful - not from buzzing citrus, but with a calm, cozy softness. It’s October now, gloomy and lacking sunshine, and this scent fits the autumn chill perfectly, bringing warmth and a bright little slice of summer rose gardens.

In the heart, it reminds me so much of Un Jardin sur le Nil, but to my nose, it's louder and more diffusive.

Heavenly Opening, Lethal Drydown
this perfume is terribly bizarre to me. For the first couple of hours, I simply can't get enough of it - it's so breathtaking, airy, and expansive. But then, some strange magical metamorphosis takes place, and I start feeling physically nauseous, as if from poison.

I had the exact same reaction to Tom Ford's Black Orchid (they smell nothing alike, but my physical response is identical). It genuinely feels like someone slipped a drop of beautiful poison into this bottle - it lures you in and kills you, just like a Venus flytrap catching flies. Definitely not for me, unfortunately, even though the opening leaves me completely swooning.

A Pear You Can Taste
Such a realistic pear So sweet and juicy! I really enjoy the fresh nuances too - they pop up unexpectedly, almost like soft little prickles. Deeply gourmand, the kind of scent you can literally taste rather than just smell.
Not cloying at all, just pure fruity optimism. Perfect for spring days when you just want to smell sweet, breezy, and unapologetically lovely!
