A Fiery Olfactory Journey to Jupiter: The New Unisex Fragrance “Ganymede Extrait” by Marc-Antoine Barrois
The French fashion house presents "Ganymede Extrait", an "extrait de parfum" version of its well-known classic fragrance "Ganymede".
"This world is so full of aromas that it becomes combustible, its sky glistening with mandarins and sacred fumaroles of frankincense and myrrh.... It is a planet of warm dunes where spicy and caramelized everlasting flowers bloom. The fiery heart of this fragrance reminds us that the gods gave eternal life to Ganymede. Is it a burning skin that hides beneath the wild leather?" - Marc-Antoine Barrois
"Ganymede Extrait" unfolds in a sensual composition of refreshing mandarin, balsamic incense and warming myrrh. The sweet-spicy note is enhanced by the heart notes of immortelle and leather, while Akigalawood® and mineral notes add depth to the fragrance.
Inspired by Galileo's discovery of Jupiter's moon in 1610, the woody-spicy origin fragrance "Ganymede" was launched in 2019. Fascinated by its mysterious luminous surface, Galileo chose the name "Ganymede", which goes back to Greek mythology. With "Ganymede Extrait", Marc-Antoine Barrois now wants to take its wearers once again on a spectacular journey to a fiery planet. Perfumer Quentin Bisch developed both the original fragrance and the new fragrance.
The new fragrance creation is captured in a sophisticated matte gold bottle adorned by a shiny gold cap.
The fragrance is available in a bottle size of 50 ml.
