A Fragrance Journey Into the Jungle: The New Eau de Parfum “Vétiver Fauve” by Guerlain
With the unisex fragrance "Vétiver Fauve", Guerlain presents a new, tropically inspired interpretation of the classic vetiver, inspired by Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book.
The fragrance evokes a primal world where nature still reigns: the awakening of the jungle in the early morning, untamable, a tangle of sounds, colors and beguiling scents ...
A wake-up call for the senses, where the sound of the night continues in the perfume. The notes and sensations composed by the perfumer respond to the richness of sounds and images carried by the writer's words.Guerlain

To capture the atmosphere of a foray through damp foliage and tropical fruits, the fragrance opens with a lively interplay of green accords, fresh pineapple and sweet fig. As it progresses, the fig accord gains depth and combines with the warm, woody facet of vetiver. In the base, creamy tonka bean and smoky cypriol merge into a warm duo that lends depth to the composition and finishes with a soft, spicy signature.
The composition was created by Delphine Jelk, perfumer and creative director at Guerlain.
If Vétiver Fauve were an opus, it would be Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book.
