A Fragrance of Opulence and Abundance: "Vanilla Edesia" by Electimuss

The new gourmand woody unisex fragrance "Vanilla Edesia" from Electimuss celebrates the Roman goddess of luxury and food.

Inspired by the goddess of feasting Edesia, this is a perfume of opulence and abundance. It is a vanilla based scent with bitter almond, rose de mai absolute and yang yang florals, creamy, woody notes a leathery spicy base.

In the top note, the fresh and spicy chords of bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper meet floral heliotrope and warm incense. The heart notes reveal a blend of sweet, creamy and spicy nuances of cinnamon, centifolia, ylang-ylang, balsam, milk, coriander and cumin. Finally, amber, the earthy tones of patchouli, nagarmotha and vetiver, and the soothing warmth of sandalwood, cedar and vanilla add depth to the composition.

The fragrance was created by perfumer Cécile Zarokian.

Vanilla Edesia is built on duality - just like the smell of vanilla itself which can evoke sweetness and innocence but also has a darker side, spicier, more leathery. For me this brief was all about abundance and opulence which is why we have so many ingredients. Usually my creations are more limited with ingredients, but this muse demanded more, more, more. It's a very sophisticated and complex perfume, but it's also a mass appealing, addictive and easy to wear fragrance.

This year, Electimuss released "Vanilla Edesia" and "Aquila Absolute" and "Gladiator Oud" unisex fragrances, in addition to the "Vanilla Edesia" scent.

Electimuss - an ode to ancient Rome

The London perfume house was founded in 2015 by Luke Granger and Jason Collison. The niche brand's high luxury standards are also reflected in the Latin name 'Electimuss', which means "choosing the best". Electimuss aims to capture the atmosphere and culture of ancient Rome in modern fragrance creations and bring it to life.

The fragrances are bottled in high-quality flacons decorated with faceted glass and precious metal closures - a tribute to the architecture and symbolism of the Roman Empire.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
