The "Kirsch" Eau de Parfum by Headspace: A Tribute to Temptation

The French label Headspace launches the unisex fragrance "Kirsch" - an eau de parfum that combines a liqueur-like cherry note with a soft, leathery amber base.

Seduction is a skill, attraction an instinct. The décor is there: a wooden table, leather stools, a few irises as decoration and plump cherries as enticement. Sincere empathy and well-placed humor meet smirks and deep looks. Alternate between gallant tenderness and implicit animalism.

In the composition, rum absolute, cherry and iris concrete merge into a sweet, liqueur-like note. These are joined by spicy saffron and a leather accord, enveloped by the warm and woody tones of oakmoss absolute and ambrox.

"Kirsch" is the work of perfumer Paul Guerlain and is the young label's eighth creation.

Elegance obliges one to serve the other first, an allusion to the ceremonial tradition of sake and kirsch. Toasting, eagerly biting into the round and generous fruit, wanting to get to know each other and devour at the same time. Enjoying the present with passion and gratitude. Invite or nod. All that remains is the choice between fleeting or eternal adventure.

Headspace - The fusion of science and poetry

Behind Headspace is Nicolas Chabot, who is already known for the revival of Le Galion and the creation of Aether. Another team member is designer Jules Dinand, grandson of  flacon designer Pierre Dinand. 

The aim of Headspace is to unite science and poetry in perfume production. To achieve this, the label uses vapor space analysis, also known as headspace technology . A pioneer in this field was the Swiss chemist Roman Kaiser. The basic idea behind this method is to capture volatile molecules from the environment that cannot be captured using conventional methods - be it fresh summer rain or morning dew on rose petals.

In 2022, the first seven fragrances from Headspace were introduced.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
