The New Olfactory Work of the Fragrance Library: "Opus XV - King Blue" by Amouage
"Opus XV - King Blue" is the new woody-oriental unisex fragrance that enriches the "Library" collection by Amouage.
The union of the real and the unreal, the clash of the impossible and the everyday - the surrealist manifesto that life is never really what it seems. The meeting of fire and nightshade, of juicy tangerine, grandiose amber and somber oud.

The composition unfolds with a tangy and spicy opening of sunny mandarin orange, black currant and a delicate pinch of pink pepper. In the heart, warm incense blends with sensual amber, followed by a warm base of creamy sandalwood, powerful oak, earthy patchouli, smoky Assam oud and leather.

As a new member of the esteemed Library Collection - Opus XV - King Blue is a perfume of endless questions, curious detours and unforeseen revelations.

The fragrance was created by perfumers Alexis Grugeon and Hamid Merati-Kashani.
French-born Alexis Grugeon aims to embody the vibrant energy of the younger generation. To do so, he combines bold notes to create dynamic creations that are meant to be youthful but not childish.
Hamid Merati-Kashani
Hamid Merati-Kashani was born in Germany and grew up in Isfahan. Inspired by his Middle Eastern roots, he has developed a style that combines the grace of Western genres with precious balsams.
"Opus XV - King Blue" is part of the "Library" collection, which was launched in 2010 with "Library Collection - Opus I". Last year, the fragrance "Opus XIV - Royal Tobacco" completed the series. Amouage describes the collection as a tribute to integrity, creativity and virtuosity, inspired by the aura of a library and the unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
A place where the soul leaves an imprint on the art of living, this collection of opuses proposes inventive perfumery, unthought-of accords, and always bold and unexpected scents to treasure.
