V Canto's New Fragrances Pay Homage to Great Artists: Adux, Giambellino and Guercino

V Canto's New Fragrances Pay Homage to Great Artists: "Adux", "Giambellino" and "Guercino"

Inspired by the masters of art, the Italian fragrance brand expands the "Anime del Castello" collection with three new Extraits de Parfums.

Adux

Adux was a complex man and artist, with an elegant but also strong and determined character, with innovative ideas but also with respect for the classical harmonies, just like the fragrance that embodies his emblem, elegance and innovation.

The top notes of the fragrance combine fruity and fresh chords of Brazilian orange, Italian apple, Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit. In the heart, sweet green aromas of exotic Costa Rica pineapple, grass, spicy Indian cardamom and Singapore patchouli unfold. The composition is rounded off by a warm base note of amber, birch, Italian oakmoss, Cambodian oud and musk.

V Canto drew inspiration for the fragrance "Adux" from the Italian artist Agostino di Duccio, who was also known as Adux. A pupil of Donatello, he left behind a wealth of important works, including the impressive bas-relief decorations of the Malatesta Temple.

Giambellino

Strong and elegant in color, with a determined and charming personality, the creation of Giambellino embodies the spirit of the artist who does not compromise and addresses those who know how to take their destiny in their own hands.

"Giambellino" opens with fresh, citrusy notes of amalfi lemon, Brazilian orange, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian mandarin. Heart notes reveal a floral and spicy complexity through Australian shrub mint, Balkan cranesbill, Bulgarian lavender, Indian jasmine sambac, Italian violet leaf, Caribbean nutmeg, lily of the valley and Portuguese narcissus. The warm and sweet base notes are created by amber, bourbon vanilla, Indonesian patchouli, caramel, Kentucky tobacco and musk.

The fragrance composition is inspired by the Venetian painter Giovanni Bellini, also known by the nickname Giambellino. Together with his brother Gentile, the artist laid the foundation for the Venetian school of painting of the early Renaissance.

Guercino

This creation is inspired by the great artist and painter Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, called Guercino, who was a tireless creator of works of art and constantly in search of personal improvement and development.

Top notes refresh with lively citrus notes of Amalfi lemon, Reggio Calabria bergamot, Scalea lemon, Sicilian bitter orange and Brazilian orange. The heart note reveals floral and fruity nuances of green dolomite apple, Calabrian pear, Sardinian heliotrope, Mexican frangipani and Persian melon. The sensual and warm base note is formed by Jamaican amyris, white dolomite spruce, Indian patchouli, musk, gray amber and bourbon vanilla from Madagascar

The sweet and woody creation "Guercino" is a tribute to Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, also known as Il Guercino. Guercino was an important artist of the Baroque period and excelled as an Italian painter, fresco artist and draftsman. His extraordinary talents and distinctive artistic style made him a court painter under the patronage of Sigismondo di Malatesta.

The three new fragrances were created by Paolo Terenzi as the latest creations in the "Anime del Castello" collection.

V Canto
Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi come from a traditional Italian family that has lived in the immediate vicinity of the castle "Castello di Gradara" since the 13th century. Inspired by the rich sources around the medieval castle, the siblings founded their own label in 2015.

The fragrances are available in bottle sizes of 100 ml.
