the small/precious rose
I don't even know how and where to start.
Perhaps to tell you the story, I got to know the fragrance about 2 years ago when Xerjoff had cast a spell over me with Opera. I went into a perfumery and there were countless Xerjoff bottles. Naturally, the unusual velvet bottles caught my eye and I sniffed through them all at the spray head. Wardasina was also there, but "Muse | XerJoff" and "Ouverture | XerJoff" immediately convinced me of their scent, which is why I faded them out. After about 1-2 months, I was back in the same perfumery and this time I sprayed some on my wrist.
Somehow I immediately thought to myself, no, that's not it. I looked at other fragrances and left the store. After about 1-2 hours I smelled it again and somehow thought it wasn't that bad, but I wasn't convinced enough to buy it.
Two years have actually passed and I was recently in Turkey in a huge shopping center in a "Douglas-like" perfumery. I didn't see any Xerjoff but just for fun I asked an employee. He told me in broken English to go out of the store to the far left corner where I would find Xerjoff. I went out and discovered a huge store called Beymen.
Once inside I was spellbound, not only did they have Xerjoff. They had what felt like every known niche brand. From MFK, V-Canto, Clive Cristian, Maison Crivelli, Sospiro, Amouage and other brands that I had never seen in Germany in such a line-up.
However, I went past most of them and tested "Muse | XerJoff" again and then I smelled "Wardasina / Rosso Afgano | XerJoff"
I remembered the scent very differently, so I sprayed it on and BAM.
I was in love...
The fragrance starts with a beautiful, velvety rose that is somehow sweet and spicy at the same time. This rose is the Bulgarian rose that is also recognizable in
Oud Satin Mood Eau de Parfum. After a short time, tobacco joins in, which makes everything really nice and smoky and warm. In the base, spices and oud, good oud, not stinky oud that smells like fertilizer
It gives the fragrance the depth it needs without being heavy in the air.
It does smell a little alcohol-heavy or synthetic, but this fades after a few minutes.
I have little to say about the bottle. Luxury, nobility and beauty, with the red velvet flacons and only with the velvet flacons, because I don't like the lacquer flacons at all.
H/S: Xerjoff type in the V-Collection. above average strength.
I can imagine that not everyone will like this fragrance and it is not made for every nose, but it is for mine and I would recommend everyone to try it once!
PS: Less than 2 weeks later, it's in my collection :)

How a fragrance can develop
I was not familiar with the fragrance or the Francesca Bianci brand. My boss walked past me in the office and out of curiosity I asked what fragrance he was wearing as he smelled quite nice. He couldn't remember the name but promised to look it up again at home. A few weeks passed and he came to my place in the morning and placed a high-quality packaged tester on my desk. Puzzled, I asked what it was and he told me it was the fragrance I had asked for. Naturally, I was looking forward to finally testing the fragrance myself. While I was unwrapping it, he told me that the fragrance needs about an hour to smell really good. I thought he was exaggerating and sprayed it directly on my wrist.
I'll be honest, the scent smelled bad. I held my wrist out to a colleague and he replied that the scent smelled like sh*sse. Quietly, of course, because our boss was sitting next door.
Minute by minute, the smell changed.
At the beginning:
At first, it smells like an old man who washes himself irregularly, chain smokes in the small living room and rarely airs the room. It's winter and he heats the rather cold apartment with a small wood-burning stove. The combination is so mordantly animalistic that it makes you a little dizzy.
After an hour:
My boss is right, after about 45-90 minutes the scent is completely different. You can still easily recognize the smoky leather notes, but they are covered by rosy honey and beeswax notes. Sweet and spicy overall.
I have never experienced such a development in a perfume before. It's like a thunderstorm at night and after what feels like an hour, the storm clouds move away and it becomes a pleasant autumn morning with golden sunshine.
My colleague at work didn't recognize the scent either and also liked it.
Although the fragrance is listed as unisex, I can't for the life of me think of a woman it would suit.
Durability strong Sillage good. Definitely a fragrance for very special occasions.
Not for everyone, but if you have the opportunity to try it, I would recommend it.

Crazy in love with the fragrance
First of all, I don't understand why the fragrance is rated so poorly. In my opinion, it's one of the best Montale fragrances I've had the pleasure of getting to know.
The sillage is strong and enveloping, while the longevity lasts effortlessly throughout the day. A passionate prelude with floral notes of rose and violet. The base of the fragrance consists of a sensual blend of vanilla, white musk and spicy sandalwood.
It smells as if you are walking on a slightly windy flowerbed and enhances your sense of well-being.
Crazy in Love is not just a fragrance, but a feeling. Perfect for romantic evenings or special occasions. In my opinion, wearable at any time of year.

The essence of the Orient in a bottle
an intense oriental fragrance. Consisting of spicy top notes such as nutmeg or dominant saffron. The combination of leather patchouli and pleasantly dosed amber gives the fragrance a long-lasting depth. I see the fragrance for the cold season. For me, it's not a fragrance for special occasions in the evening, but rather for everyday wear. If you like oriental fragrances at a fair price, you can't go wrong with this one.

A touch of the exotic and a flower meadow
I can only recommend this fragrance to everyone. A mixture of fruity and floral notes that make the fragrance fascinating. Initially rather fresh, with time rather warm through notes such as vanilla and musk. The fragrance has good longevity and is clearly perceptible but not overpowering. In my opinion, it can be worn for any occasion and is an asset to any perfume collection.
