A Fairy Tale with a Happy Ending
A very delicate scent that touches me deeply and is unlike anything else. It’s as if someone is whispering a fairy tale in your ear - a fairy tale with a happy ending. And when you wear this fragrance, you know: Nothing bad can happen. The scent bathes everything around it in sunny colors.
Yes, the lemon powder is delicate, yes, the iris too - but after a few hours, this vanilla comes to the forefront, unique and unmistakable. A vanilla that can only be found in this fragrance.
How it made me addicted and wouldn’t let go.
I wear the Double Spiritueuse Vanille by Guerlain, the Vanilla S‘x by Tom Ford, and the Vanilla West Indien by Ligne St. Barth. In short: I know many and have more than one bottle on my shelf - and not just vanilla.
But this one has captured my heart.

His Time is Winter
“The scent is beautiful but… It reminds me of my skin and for my nose a soft, less musky version of
Erba Pura.” I wrote this statement in the summer and put the sample aside.
When I read the good reviews, I gave it another chance later in the autumn.
How surprised I was when I sprayed it again. I currently find the scent very feminine, opulent, soft,
subtly sweet but also fresh.
I am also positively surprised by the longevity and sillage.
I’m glad I gave it a second chance before saying goodbye to the scent.
It’s a candidate for a full bottle.

Lost Time
It was an evening in Paris. After a full day, I was already tired as I walked to the hotel when I saw a large perfume house next to the hotel. I thought I would bring back something from the City of Love as a souvenir. I must say that in Paris, even in medium-sized perfumeries, there is much more selection than here at Douglas or Sephora.
So I tested a few fragrances on the paper strips and also sprayed "Dior Addict (2014) (Eau de Parfum) | Dior."
Honestly, I didn't expect anything from the scent because I had tested it about 12-14 years ago and wasn't particularly impressed. Something had bothered me about the fragrance. How foolish I was back then or too young for the scent.
And now, everything I smelled from the strip was sooo beautiful and delicious to my nose that I sprayed it all over my hand. If I had been there alone, I would have drenched myself in the fragrance.
I didn't want to test any other scents anymore. I just wanted to smell the fragrance and understand what it wanted to tell me. It was a windy evening in Paris, I walked through the city to the hotel and just smiled. I felt so good, the fatigue disappeared, and I could walk around Paris on foot again. The aura of the fragrance was in front of me, behind me, enveloping me. At first fresh, then vanillic, powdery; I couldn't break down the scent into individual notes.
I was in love.
How could I have passed by it for so long?
Although I received it in Germany today,
Dior Addict (2014) Eau de Parfum will forever remain a love in Paris :)

The Children of Zarkoyan
The first time I tested the fragrance, I thought, "I can't smell it, I can't wear it. Too much wood, cedar is not for me at all." I put the sample away and didn't test it again. Then I read a story about my homeland, about Armenia and the old times of Armenia. That's how I came to the fragrance "Ani (Extrait de Parfum) | Nishane," which no one could bring together better than Cecile Zarokyan, a French Armenian. It was a discovery for me, a dive into a new favorite direction of perfumery.
I became attentive to Cecile Zarokyan's other works and tested the fragrance Mon Nom est Rouge on my skin again. It opens on my skin very similarly to "Ani (Extrait de Parfum) | Nishane." You can immediately see the handwriting of the same author. And I saw the fragrance Mon Nom est Rouge with new eyes. I have grown into the fragrance, will buy it in a large bottle, and will wear it.

Unexpectedly Long Lasting and Sillage
When I saw the mango in the top notes, I was really compelled to drive to Douglas to test the fragrance. ️ But that day I had an important meeting, an appointment in the city, and wanted to go to Douglas a few hours earlier to test the scents in peace, without rush. When the consultant sprayed the fragrance just once on my arm, I immediately fell in love with it. Such a fresh and not overly sweet fruity-floral scent is exactly what I have always wished for on hot summer days. It was truly love at first spray. I stepped outside and the fragrance enveloped me like a huge cloud. I had to drive my car out of the underground garage for my appointment and immediately noticed that the scent filled the entire space wherever I entered, the elevator as well, the whole garage, I had to drive my car with the windows open. Just one spray!!!
Honestly, I started to feel embarrassed to appear so heavily perfumed at a serious meeting, but it was too late to cancel. After the meeting, I received a few compliments on the perfume. On my way home, I noticed that the scent had changed, and I recognized it. It reminded me of a very well-known and much-loved fragrance, Bottega Veneta Knot, which has recently been discontinued and is no longer produced.
So the scent also filled the whole apartment
Such good longevity and sillage of the Aqua Allegoria, especially the Eau de Toilette, pleasantly surprised me! One must be careful with the spray dosage at first.
