When you see the bottle of Alexandria 2 alone, you already know that it is something very extravagant and unique.
Once sprayed - and it feels as if time stops and you are alone with the fragrance. It's like opening the gate of a hidden mysterious ancient city, because subconsciously you already know that it will be a unique experience that will beguile your senses and transport you to another dimension.
It is a fragrance that unfolds like a morning in Alexandria; the first rays of sunlight slowly touch the ancient stones and the world awakens in a golden light. Rose and jasmine in the heart note, a duet that is both familiar and exotic. Oud, the dark and mysterious resin, gives the fragrance a depth that is both ancient and timeless.
The fragrance rounds off later and becomes softer and pleasant in the air.
I also noticed a certain freshness and lightness, which probably comes from the apple and lavender and gives the fragrance a new complexity.
The fragrance experience is unique and hard to put into words, and the good thing is that it also lasts a long time and keeps the daydream alive in a modern, hectic world.
The sillage is like a gentle trail that you leave behind; it is present without being intrusive, drawing a trail of elegance and sophistication.
Alexandria 2 offers a little escape from the stress and hectic pace of everyday life, seducing you into a mysterious, pleasant and noble dimension and warming the heart. Not only your heart but also the people around you, as it has proven to be a good compliment getter so far ;).
With every new spray I discover new sides to the fragrance and become more and more convinced!
Definitely a recommendation to buy!

Alexandria 2: A perfect work of art

I'd heard a lot about Layton through Tiktok etc., even before the big hype, and the response was simply overwhelmingly good, so I thought - no brainer, just get it. Absolutely wrong decision.
First of all the fragrance, just not really as much depth as advertised and hyped. The apple is not refreshing as hoped, just a weird sweetness, no great quality or fragrance composition behind it, so not mine at all from the DNA. Blatantly overrated IMO! Performance was ok, but I wouldn't have expected anything less for the price.
There are much better and underrated fragrances from Marly that promise a much more interesting, more mature, deeper DNA and a more awesome fragrance experience.

After hundreds of reviews and explicit recommendations on Tiktok and YT, I decided to buy the fragrance and was extremst gespannt.
İch had always wondered how gourmandig and delicious should be taken up, which I had always read in reviews.
And when the fragrance arrived, I finally understood what delicious could mean.
My father sprayed himself first. It was just to bite into, absolutely delicious. Really reminds you of a winter's day - you smell cinnamon, apple pie, vanilla (it kind of reminded me a bit of baklava şerbet - just seductive) - generally sweet yummy notes, but they are anything but strong and annoying.

I absolutely loved the scent, but my problem with Khamrah is the longevity. İch could not even a whole hour the fragrance strongly perceived. Everything after 20 minutes were only so light perceptions.
After 3-4 hours on the skin actually almost nothing.
Sillage was strangely enough on the skin of my father mega blatant. İch was positively surprised, what a broad scent cloud it leaves behind - I was in love. But with me max. 3/10.

Generally, therefore, very nice fragrance, with poor durability and also relatively weak sillage.
Contrary to all the reviews, the performance was with me so not so good, unfortunately. I try the fragrance also times with Vaseline.
