Cinnamon Tobacco Christmas Punch
Since my environment has now noticed my addiction to fragrances, I get more and more fragrances for Christmas gifts. Fragrances are not cheap but at least no one has to think too much when choosing a gift.
This year, Azzaro Wanted By Night was one of them. I had heard a lot about this flanker and the standard Wanted I had sniffed years ago, so I wasn't too excited about the By Night version.
However, I was taught better, while namely Azzaro Wanted for me was only synthetic broth and thus a total loss, I find Wanted by night much more successful. He fulfills more than just its purpose as an autumn / winter fragrance.
The opening make here spicy cinnamon paired with a sweet tangerine. The further the fragrance progresses the spicier it becomes. Components like cumin and cedar come in. I particularly like the drydown, this smoky tobacco scent is just addictive, am generally a fan of tobacco scents. Others might be averse to it.
I find the cinnamon note here just so awesome and therefore it is also perfect for Christmas. Durability is also appropriate for a winter fragrance, with me he performs for hours continuously until he then still very present something moves into the background.
Finally, I can say that Azzaro has succeeded with Wanted By night a pleasant winter fragrance with a very decent performance, the comparisons to Spicebomb Extreme I understand but I think Spicebomb plays in a slightly higher league, because the composition is somewhat more complex and unique.
This reminds me by the fruity notes rather of the Stronger with you fragrances of Armani, which I actually also find quite okay.
The bottle, however, I find not too beautiful, a minimalist glass bottle with magnetic lid would have made much more

New winter favourite
I have to admit that at first I was a bit reluctant because freshly sprayed Givenchy Gentleman smells very spicy and tart. A scent I don't like at all.
I am glad that the fragrance is taking a very good course.
Because after about 10 minutes this strong peppery scent fades away and a sweetish powdery iris and a balsamic patchoulin note remains. Later, the tender vanilla also becomes present and rounds off this elegantly pleasant fragrance composition.
Gentleman may be compared to other fragrances like Valentino Uomo Intense or Dior Homme Intense, but I find this one a little more subtle and sophisticated than the two mentioned.
I would even say it has something of Prada L'Homme, only this one is a bit more complex.
Gentleman smells much better to me on clothes than on skin, because the flowery soapy component is reinforced so that you go through the day with a clean feeling.
By the way you don't have to wear a suit to wear this fragrance, it is enough to be dressed a little casually. Gentleman's adapting pretty well.
For me a new favourite for the cold season and something different than those overly spicy winter scents

Insider tip
I really don't understand why this scent is so badly received here while it is called "hidden gem" in the English-speaking world, for example.
And I also think that Made to Measure is a little insider tip. It smells very reserved and modern, but at the same time sweet and seductive in its heart note, which is probably due to the berry and plum notes.
The prelude is a bit peppery and fresh at the same time. The performance is also not as bad as everyone claims. Here the talk is of a maximum of 1-2 hours, while the fragrance lasts about 6 hours.
So if you want an elegant, fresh and sweet scent, which is very reserved but still very present, Gucci Made to Measure is a real insider tip. Since the price has also dropped significantly, it only makes this fragrance even more attractive.

The younger, naughty brother of L'Homme
I am a little surprised that L'Homme Leau is given so little attention, unlike L'Homme and L'Homme Intense.
Because I find the fragrance composition quite ingenious. Take L'Homme and add ginger and a fresher note. The result is a powdery fresh fragrance with a slightly oriental scent. The whole is rounded off by a floral note.
The result is a bold but at the same time suitable for everyday use, which makes the wearer smell simply clean and noble.
The whole thing is best worn in spring/summer, while L'Homme is more suited to the autumn and winter seasons

Undercover Deodorant
As Diesel never really appealed to me, I wanted to give the brand a chance and thought I would try the probably most famous Diesel fragrance. "Only the brave" is the name of the scent. The name promises a lot, in addition to the bottle in fist form.
As cool and masculine as the presentation is, the scent unfortunately does not convince me at all.
It is citric-fresh and in my opinion has no character of its own, smells to me like a sports deodorant. Yet he is as superficial as it gets and therefore seems to me to be quite cheap.
Throughout the entire development one perceives an overly sweet tangerine, which then takes away the last bit of nobility. Please do not be confused by my last sentence, because I mentioned the word "development", there is no such thing here. The scent simply becomes mustier over time until an overly sweet, synthetic scent takes over.
Don't get me wrong, the fragrance is not bad in its fresh phase, but I have smelled fragrances with much more depth and character in Zara and that might mean something.
My advice: don't touch it
