Uncomplicated freshness for the summer
Sometimes you don't want a complicated fragrance, you just want something that is fresh, clean and pleasant. Aube Lumineuse is exactly that kind of fragrance.

As soon as I spray it on, the scent reminds me of a shower gel or an 8x4 deodorant - the kind of freshness you feel straight after a cold shower on a hot summer's day. But I don't mean that in a negative way, quite the opposite: Aube Lumineuse is light, unobtrusive and yet present.

Despite its airy freshness, the fragrance has good sillage and surprisingly good longevity. It therefore accompanies you over a longer period of time without being overwhelming.

A sweet dream in white
What a wonderful vanilla fragrance! As soon as I spray it on, the warm, sweet smell of vanilla sugar hits my nose - almost as if I were standing in an ice cream parlor waiting for a freshly made scoop of vanilla ice cream. Simply delicious!

But Melipona offers more than just pure sweetness. In addition to the creamy vanilla, I perceive a light and refreshing mint, which gives the fragrance a special fascination. This makes it not so heavy or sticky, but gives it a very pleasant freshness.

What I find particularly exciting about fragrances: I always associate them with a color. And with Melipona, my color scale remained white throughout. Radiant, soft and inviting - just like the fragrance itself.

For anyone who loves vanilla, this is a clear recommendation. Sweet, but not too sweet. Creamy, but not overpowering. Simply an all-round successful fragrance that you should definitely try!

A visit to my grandparents that I would rather not have made
Some fragrances transport you to a special place or awaken forgotten memories. Feu Sacré definitely did that for me - but in a way I hadn't expected.

As soon as I sprayed it on, I felt transported back to my early childhood. Back then, when I visited my grandparents with my parents, I always had mixed feelings when I stood outside their front door. I liked my grandma and grandpa, but their old house with its dark, massive furniture was a horror for me as a child. It always smelled slightly musty, a bit like oil, like rooms that were rarely aired. This is exactly the feeling that Feu Sacré triggered in me.

But that's not all - on top of the already difficult basic accord, there are strong spices that make everything even more intense. For me, this is a mixture that puts me off rather than fascinates me. However, I am sure that there are lovers of such dark, nostalgic fragrances. However, I personally do not belong to this target group.

A strong fragrance that certainly has its fans - unfortunately not me.

from insect spray to vacation souvenir
Sometimes a fragrance needs a little time to show its true colors. Etoile de Bali is just such a candidate. My first impression? An unpleasant resemblance to insect spray. The bergamot really hits you - fresh, sharp, almost biting. But fortunately, this impression doesn't last that long.

After a few minutes, the fragrance begins to develop. The dominant bergamot becomes softer, creating an atmosphere that reminds me of a vacation by the sea in the south of France. This is where Etoile de Bali finally unfolds its charm.

If the start wasn't so intense, the fragrance would be much more pleasant for me. But if you don't let the initial sharpness put you off, you will be treated to a beautiful green composition that transports you to the Mediterranean. Not a perfect fragrance, but one with character.

From the blue sea to the clear mountain spring
L'aube is the third fragrance from Goldmusk that I was allowed to test as part of a traveling letter, and it immediately reminded me of summer. On first application, a fresh, clear fragrance unfolds that inevitably made me think of soap and the blue sea - clean, airy and pleasant. However, it is precisely this catchiness that is my first point of criticism: the fragrance seems too pleasing, almost too well-behaved. It initially lacks character and excitement.
After a short time, however, L'aube develops noticeably. The initial maritime freshness is replaced by earthy, green nuances. Suddenly I no longer feel like I'm by the sea, but in the middle of a forest with fresh air, like on a hike in the Alps. At the end, you feel as if you are standing at a mountain spring and smelling the pure water. This development makes it interesting, even if it remains rather subtle overall.
For me, L'aube is a beautiful summer fragrance. Especially for anyone looking for a subtle, unobtrusive fragrance for everyday wear, L'aube is an excellent choice in my opinion.
