Purest & cleanest scent money can buy
What a phenomenal fragrance. I have a faint memory of smelling the original Reflection, but that was only from the atomizer and I didn't think it was nothing special (yes I know I should have tried on skin). I got a decant of Reflection 45 from Amouage's Exceptional Extraits collection and didn't expect it to impress me but it actually managed to exceed my expectations. It's opens beautifully with soapy clean iris and jasmine, which dries down to a deep powdery, slightly sweet and ambery base. The accords I pick up are floral, clean, slightly soapy, powdery, aromatic and spicy. From what I remember the original Reflection is more floral and has a heavier dose of neroli. Reflection 45 smells very polished and three dimensional and I actually think you are getting what you are paying for here. Come on guys, it's a 45% Extrait of exceptional (no pun intended) quality at like $4 per ml, it's not that bad. Also, I feel like if you enjoyed Prada L'Homme it will be hard to dislike this one as it's in the same genre of fragrances: iris cleanliness. Think of Reflection 45 like the middle eastern, ultra luxury version of Prada L'Homme. Extravagant perfume

Opulence
Opulent blend of Leather, Incense and Amber with warm spicy tones of saffron and cumin. Parfum de la Nuit 3 sits on a floral and slightly sweet resinous base. It smells incredibly high quality and well put together. Not dirty at all despite heavy and typically dirty notes of Leather, incense and cumin. Incredibly well blended, this is opulence in a bottle. The fragrance sits quite close to the skin and doesn't project massively however, it lasts very long. Although the notes in this are not my favorite, as I prefer sweet, fresh & boozy scents over dry orientals like this one, I can't deny the exquisite quality notes. They are so well put together that I have no other reason than to rate the scent a 9 out of 10. If the fragrance had been more my cup of tea, I would have given it a 10.

The price is absolutely outrageous. No fragrance should be priced at €1.200 retail. I am aware you can scoop this up at around €800 on grey markets. I think the retail price of this should be half or even less. You are however paying for arguably the most prestigious and renowned fragrance brand, Roja Parfums, and the packaging is second to none. That however does not make up for the outrageous price of this fragrance. Xerjoff for example also has impeccable packaging, yet doesn't have nearly as steep price tags as Roja Parfums, while still smelling of extremely high quality. Only a very experienced nose can notice a quality difference between these two houses.

Parfums de Marly doing what they do best
By now, Parfums de Marly has solidified themselves at making niche accessible to newcomers from the designer world, with high quality offerings that still have a familiarity to the world of designer fragrances, but taking it to a new level with more refinement, smoothness and quality - and a higher pricetag. Parfums de Marly has also solidified themselves as one of the top brands to look for if you want excellent oriental, spicy and sweet fragrances with mass appeal.

Althaïr is nothing less than excellent. Parfums de Marly has come out with another straight banger. Bourbon vanilla, the favorite note of many is utilized in this composition to create one of the most mouth watering sweet, sensual gourmand fragrance for men that you will encounter. It is quite a complex creation. Althaïr opens up with a blast of the bourbon vanilla, a hint of bergamot and orange blossom. But the citruses fade quickly into the background and the cinnamon and cardamom creates a warm and spicy, addictive base. Musk plays a big part in this composition as well, blending seamlessly with the bourbon vanilla to create a mouthwatering gourmand scent that is ultra creamy, and very sexy. Yet again, Parfums de Marly has come out with a classy scent that I think will become ultra popular. I'd put this in the Top 3 of the brand, above Herod, Layton and Carlisle. Great performance, price is quite high at the moment as it hasn't hit the grey/mainstream market yet, so wait for that and with some money to spare you can have a phenomenal frargrance for the fall/winter and even spring seasons.

Unique, modern and a different twist to the original
Modern fresh fragrance and a unique take of the genre: a solid release from the house of Roja Parfums. Eau Intense is quite different to the Parfum cologne. It opens up beautifully with a blast of tart, bitter-green-fresh rhubarb and juniper berries, with grapefruit and musk creeping up in the background. A vetiver note becomes more prominent and the icy cool musks, fresh juniper berries, rhubarb and citruses settle on a slightly woody-earthy vetiver base with the recognizable Elysium DNA. In the drydown it gets more similar to Elysium Parfum Cologne, but that doesn't render this redundant, this is worth owning if you already have the original. As juniper berries is a very prominent note in this, I think it gives a vague hint towards Gentle fluidity silver by MFK with similar uses of icy cool juniper berries and musks. However, the Roja is significantly fruitier and complex with citruses and tart green rhubarb.

The eau intense is a complex, elegant, sophisticated but most of all refreshing scent. Not just refreshing because it has typically refreshing notes, but also refreshing because Roja provided us with a significantly different twist to Elysium and a unique take on the fresh fragrance genre. Nothing on the market smells like this, there's not a single fragrance I've tried that is very similar to this. Also, I disagree with the masses, for me the longevity is great; I woke up still smelling it the next day 20 hours after application. For a Roja this is a solid price and even at retail a good pickup. At discounters it can be found for significantly cheaper, giving you even more bang for your buck.

Rustic candy boutique
One of the best fragrances I've ever tried. Smells just like the name. It's like you walk into a rustic candy shop on the corner of the street and pick up on the smell in the air of all the candies around the boutique. That being said, this is a very sexy scent perfect for everything from clubbing & partying to daily use. Now that I think about it this would be the perfect choice for a party situation, this will get you noticed. This stuff has enormous sillage and projection, so go easy on the sprays if you are wearing it casually. I did 1 mini spray just to wear at home and it filled my room. Didn't even have to put my nose to my wrist to notice it filling the air around me.

Given the note breakdown you would think this is sickly sweet, but it's just beautifully balanced out by the addition of tonkin musk and ambergris. Also, I haven't tried the OG so I can't compare or speak on that one. The high rating on this fragrance is truly justified, it really checks all the boxes. One of the most creative and unique releases lately.
