Wonderful fragrance
Dua's Amber is a wonderful fragrance of the "always wanting to sniff your wrist" variety.
It opens with ylang-ylang over sweet ambery woods, with myrrh and vanilla. The combination immediately creates a well-rounded scent. You can wear it! Over time, the resinous, woody notes intensify, with a subtle floral hint and creamy vanilla always adding a touch of sweetness.

What I particularly like about this fragrance is that I can smell it myself all the time without becoming scent-blind and I really like it at all times. In a blind test, I would have assigned the fragrance to the "Amouage" men's fragrance brand based on its DNA and perceived, balanced complexity, but without being able to say exactly which one. On the one hand, this should mean that the quality as a whole is right, and on the other hand that I perceive the fragrance as more masculine and mature due to the woods.

If I had to draw conclusions about a person from the fragrance, I would see a sporty, dynamic man in elegant casual or business attire. Be it for a business meeting, a meal, shopping or going out in the evening. The fragrance somehow commands the wearer's respect and exudes a certain cultivated comfort with its woody warmth. It would be the perfect choice for signing a contract! Dua's Amber is definitely a striking fragrance that lasts for hours. Always with a clear sillage and presence, yet subtle enough not to overwhelm others. Fits!

Although you could call me a Xerjoff fan, I don't know the fragrance "Amber Star | XerJoff"! The purchase was too expensive for me in this case, because I already knew the white "Star Musk | XerJoff" and it didn't really inspire me as a separate fragrance. Unfortunately, Iris is not my thing, I thought... but then I layered Dua's Amber with Star Musk as a test and was very surprised at how well the two fragrances harmonize and complement each other. How classy and exquisite this combination smells! Layered like this, I would also find the fragrance very appealing on a woman. If Amber Star really smells similar to Dua's Amber, then I can really understand the idea of the "Xerjoff Shooting Stars Amber Star/Star Musk" package.
