A lot of fragrance for little money
Since I've been using Ambre Nuit for a while now and still love it, it was only a matter of time to take a closer look at RP's supposed price/performance miracle.
I ordered the 50ml for just under €30 including shipping from a French retailer and had it in my hands just a few days later - I was immediately speechless.
An Ambre Nuit that wasn't one after all, but cast a spell over me.
The DNA may be the same, but they are very different! Above all, the much more present but beautiful rose and the somewhat more restrained ambergris are worth mentioning here.
Is Orientalisme a worse Ambre Nuit? Certainly not!
It has its own rough edges, but they make it a great fragrance for little money. The longevity and sillage are also really great for the low price - a clear recommendation for lovers of Ambre Nuit who have no problem with a little more rose ;)

Apple meets flower bed
While I wasn't a particularly big fan of fragrances like Layton and co. at first, the tide quickly turned and I began to understand the hype!
The blend of fruitiness, florality and spice is simply one that everyone needs in their collection.
But does it have to be a Layton? No. Because this Dusk is a force to be reckoned with and puts its role model (?) in the shade. Much rounder, softer and more balanced... as a Layton owner, you can get jealous ;)
But it's certainly not a dupe - it's too independent overall for that and that's a good thing!
An absolute no-brainer for the price - go for it if available.
