Joop Homme Reloaded
What have I heard about the smell?

Too female
only for young boys
THE party scent
Beastmode

I was expecting a scent that, when sprayed on, would tear down houses and depopulate the nearby cemetery.

What did I perceive when I sprayed for the first time? Pleasantly musty pear, dark vanilla, woods and freshness.

I have my problems with the original Le Male and only entered the line with Le Parfum. The original is too pointed and pushy for me. Since UM I find it much more balanced and warmer. I like to wear it as a sweet everyday scent while shopping, in the office etc. Of course it is important not to overdose it.

To turn the page to the heading.
I find it just as creative as Joop Homme as sweet men's fragrance back then. It breaks some conventions but is very wearable and pleasant.

Bad brother of Terre d'Hermes
What made me buy the scent.

Coincidence.
A pure blind buy.

I just filled my shopping cart at the big N and got the ad for this fragrance presented. Tight 20s. Since you can hardly do anything wrong at that price, I briefly checked the reviews here and practiced G stands for gönnen.

A few days later my parcel arrived and I was curious. Unpacked, sprayed on
You know the one
Sprayed it simultaneously onto a test strip and left it there.

In the further process I sniffed several times at me and the strip.

Also at the risk of being beaten, for me it is almost identical to TdH.
EC begins darker from the beginning and you know where the journey is going. The vetiver is very present and over the wearing period is the main accord of the fragrance. TdH begins more citric and a little brighter. The vetiver appears more friendly and not so overpresent. But apart from that, these fragrances are twins for MY nose. Both I find strenuous to wear, although they are fragrances. But that is probably because I am not a fan of dry fragrances, which does not diminish the quality of the fragrance.

My biggest problem is the carrying. The fragrance is actually suitable for dark days or dark occasions. Possibly on office days where you call out to your colleagues "I'm not in a good mood"

I'll keep it, but it'll last a long time. . .

Sauvage- My boss
I had known the EdT for a long time, but could not bring myself to buy it. It was too much and too little for me. Too much pepper, too much volume, too much sillage, too much imbalance. At the same time it had too little balance and too little originality. But I always liked the DNA in him basically. The problem was that you smelled it too often, because the scent is worn inflationary. So I ticked it off.

By chance I stumbled upon a sample of the EdP version. Without much expectation I tested it and directly recognized the Sauvage DNA. I don't like the top note of either version. This mixture of toilet stone and fresh air annoys me.
In the further course of the EdP, the DNA of Sauvage is clearly visible. Both variants are 85 percent similar. But then a balance sets in, which I missed at the EdT. It gets deeper, a bit darker and does not rely only on its freshness. That's how I like Sauvage. I couldn't see any big difference in the shelf life.

Here is my Sauvage, which you can wear all year round and at every opportunity, if you don't overdose it (which you shouldn't do to the environment with any fragrance)

A small disappointment on a high level
I'll save myself the trouble of using the normal BB for a comparison. Almost everyone should know what it smells like. This one picks up some elements of the BB and puts them in the foreground. That it is a stronger version of the original cannot be confirmed by my nose.

In the beginning it starts with a sour synthetic in which I cannot define anything. Cinnamon, a little woody and vanilla are added in the course. According to the fragrance pyramid, however, no vanilla is contained.

I find him for an EdP from the beginning very close. And that is also the crucial point. The fragrance as a whole is good, but where is the performance, please? I had asked a friend to make a statement after wearing it for three hours. She was surprised that I had put on a scent at all (two blows on the right and left side of the neck. Three spray blows on the shirt). When she approached 5 cm, she could perceive him. For my personal taste, this is relatively weak, or do I have to hang up more here?
But in his favour I have to say that I smelled my shirt in the evening and could still perceive it.

Is he now worth his money?
Yep. I got it at the offer price at D... i'll get it for you. 100 ml cost 42 EUR. This is approximately at the level of the normal EdT (not the intense variant). I would not buy it at the regular price. I'd rather see it as a variation to the EdT, which is a HAUCH stronger. I expect more from a perfume. It's too bad.

For me the best boss bottled
I recently indulged in the boss bottled EdP intense (which was a little disappointment) and this scent here. For the other fragrance I will write a separate review.

When sprayed on, the oud unfolds brutally in the first minutes, but becomes softer and smoother in the course, but is to be perceived throughout. Of the ingredients that are contained, I can perceive - besides the oud - cinnamon, sandalwood and a hint of clove. I can't confirm that only Oud was planted on the classic boss only Oud. I find the scent already very independent.

All in all, I can say for myself that I feel well dressed with the scent. It is portable for me in autumn and winter. Once it's warm, he'd be too gloomy for me. For me, he is the best Boss fragrance as far as craftsmanship is concerned. The flankers of him (Saffron and Aromatic) I may also test, but are not available at the moment.

To me, he resembles John Varvato's Black Rebel.
