"Zafferano" - Acqua di Parma launches exclusive perfume for Harrods

The Italian fragrance house "Acqua di Parma" takes us on a journey to the Middle East with "Zafferano". The heart of the new fragrance is saffron from Iran.

Zafferano is the Italian word for saffron, which is grown mainly in Iran and is also known as "red gold" because of the difficult harvesting process. Acqua di Parma presents the popular spice in the form of this perfume, combining the warmth and dryness with bright citrus. The composition is complemented by white flowers and a woody, vanilla base note, which unite to create an extraordinary interpretation of saffron.

The perfume was created exclusively for "Harrods". The box and the bottle reflect this partnership. The last was designed in art deco style and kept in black tones. Highlights are the hand-painted gold tones, which contain the logos of Acqua di Parma and Harrods. The gold bottle cap is meant to reflect the preciousness of the rare golden spice ingredient.

The perfume is available in the bottle size 100 ml exclusively at Harrods.
