Show me where the saffron blooms
The fragrance "Cappadocia | Memo Paris" first welcomes you with a wonderfully transparent saffron and fine myrrh and immediately transports you to southern climes, taking you from the rainy coolness to the sunny warmth of Asia Minor.

Takes you to a landscape like no other, where nature itself is the architect. If you look around, your gaze will lead you to a portal made of finely carved stone.
There you enter a church carved into the rock centuries ago, which reveals images from a bygone era with enchantingly fresh-looking colors.

The mineral smell of the rock walls mingles with the incense mixture of the thousands of masses held here, which permeates everything.
Much like the ancient church halls in Old Cairo, incense, old wood and all the faithful who have said their prayers here over the years form a deep aroma that you can experience here.

If you stay there for a while, the fragrance opens up new levels. More sweetness, florals emerge and with the delicate jasmine and soft iris butter, it lets your mind float over the strange landscape, letting you fly with the ghosts of the past and the butterflies. The dry, transparent saffron always remains present in their whirring and connects you with them. You fly away through the air with a swarm of monarch butterflies and the soft rose in your nose, off to new (fragrance) adventures...

If you look at the image in gold and black on the bottle, place your finger on the map and let the fragrance flow into your nose - then you can travel to an unknown part of the world - or to memories of familiar ones. Memo Paris has created a work of art on several levels - for the eye, for the nose and for the heart. Thanks to Parfumo and Memo for the sample.

Thank you for reading.

Nonconformist?
The little tester arrived as a free sample - how nice was that please! The notes are on the card - sprayed and realized: this is exactly my son's cup of tea. Fresh, aromatic start (I would have liked it on me too), then it becomes more aquatic and masculine. The test strip radiates far and wide despite a single spray.
In my opinion, "Anticonformiste | Mizensir" is not a unique fragrance, as the name suggests. It reminds me of men's perfumes that I have already smelled. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful fragrance with more unusual top notes.
My nineteen-year-old son grabbed the sample straight away and loved it immediately. This means that "Anticonformiste | Mizensir" has probably also reached the intended target group. Mission accomplished.

Shalimar, the first...
Actually, I could not well imagine that Shalimar I like.
The first encounter with the Eau de Parfum has overwhelmed me, to say the least. Also the Eau de Toilette was not a "must-have".

However, the last residue on the skin shortly before evaporating then I liked quite well, and that was probably the reason why I went to sniff the "Millesime Tonka" last year.
With the wrist on the nose, I then soon had to go back to the store to purchase the bottle.
The saleswoman sprayed me on the spot still with a combination of Shalimar Eau de Parfum and Spiritueuse Double Vanille - oh dear - in my mind I was already in the hotel, change and wash my hair - but that resulted in a surprisingly good fragrance dress, with which I moved around the rest of the day in Paris.

In Millesime Tonka, the Urshalimar is included as a scaffold or core, but around the outside fluffs a dark powdery iris tonka shell that blends beautifully with the scent of the skin. In addition, touches of sweet vanilla.
After a few hours, a slight soapiness sets in for me, yet the fragrance impression remains transparent and the fine soft iris-tonka-vanilla combo dominant. The other floral notes from the fragrance pyramid I do not perceive.
The durability is good, close to the skin at the end of the day, which suits me. I like to wear it, looking forward to the cooler season, because there it fits best.

Possibly the Millesime Tonka is a good starter shalimar, at least for me. I have a feeling this won't be the last Shalimar to move in with me. Good so.
